Where can I find a tourer caravan with a door wide enough to push a wheelchair through Please help Pat?

Its a shame as we cant take our son away anymore, he has got too big to lift through the tiny doors that are on most caravans The Manufacturers of Caravans don't seem to be bothered about this kind of problem people face
All i can say is its a disgrace.

If you buy a motorhome they have adaptions for a wheel chair and if you buy new then you dont pay vat if your son is a permanent wheel chair user--An alternative would be to cut out a wider opening in the caravan panel and make dual doors or hinge the door slam panel so that it folds to allow wheel chair access

How wide do doors need to be for people in wheelchairs?

I am building an addition on my house for my elderly parents. I am building it "wheelchair friendly" Everything I reads says that a 2'6" wide door is ok, others say you need a 36" wide door. I'd like to hear from someone in a wheelchair ... if a 2'6" door works ok it will save me a bunch of money!

I am a caregiver for my mom who uses a wheelchair. We are putting in the 36" wide doors. The wheelchair does fit through the smaller size doors but she bumps her hands and elbows trying to go through.

are the boat docks wide enough at steal park for a wheelchair?

yes!!! have fun and enjoy your time :)
