Power chairs- very few. Manuals- some.

Look for wide, large tires- especially on front. A little knobiness is good, but not too much.

Strong frame, good shocks... I'd skip the anti-tips.

It is going to be used as a planting table for wheel chair students in a greenhouse. It will be about 36" wide, 72" long, and adjustable from 29" to 36" high. I need ideas on how to make it adjust safely, easily and inexpensively. I plan on having 3 of these tables next to each other for a total length of about 18'.

Buy an adjustable height drafting board....there are many of them that are available in used condition for about $150 or less.

I use a wheelchair. I have been working successfully as a Mac support technician at independent Mac dealers for a number of years. I am looking for a new position. I was curious as to whether any wheelchair user has worked as a Mac Genius, or any Apple Store customer has been served by or seen a Mac Genius who is a wheelchair user.

being in a wheelchair shouldn;t prevent you from getting a job anywhere your skills are in demand and there is a job opening- that would be discrimination

My 6.5 year old female ferret DeeDee was diagnosed with Insulinoma
Surgery performed, it is cancer.
Her back legs are paralysed but she has good appetite and good mood.

I am thinking on a little wheelchair that will allow her to move around when she is not on the cage

I am also modifying her setup to a smaller and lower litter box because she is only using the lowest level of her cage
Have any of you had a ferret in a wheelchair? Does it work?

Any recommendations?

Thank you for the link. They run for about $300 !!!(shipping included). There are also cheaper alternatives if I decide to use some of the home made plans on the same website. There is still the matter of using the bathroom though. The poor thing gets soiled every time, and she doesn't like baths...Ideas more than welcome!

I'm sorry I can't answer your question but I just wanted to say how fantastic I think you are for being so committed to your little fuzz bomb, I have one ferret called Freddie and I would fly to the moon for him if I had to lol!!
I have seen these wheelchairs work for dogs and cats so I think it could work for your fert. I can't think of how to help with the pee and poop situation though!! Good luck to you and your little one xx

best friends are in wheelchairs, and he dated smeone once whos daughter was in a wheelchair.hes 25 years older and says im too young. im worried he means it cuz of my chair. his friend told me hes not like that and he wouldnt care if someone was in a chair or not. should i believe her? he keeps saying if i were older hed date me and that im gorgeous. and he told me once im too young and thats all. should i believe him.
i told him i thought it was cuz i used a wheelchair and he said he knows and its not

well i dont work with any disabled groups, but my boyfriend is in a wheel chair, and we also just had a baby 5 1/2 months ago. but 25 years older is quiet a bit older. i mean he could be your dad. but then again i know a few people that are with older people. but i dont think it is the fact your in a wheel chair because, really you aint no different than me or anyone else. besides the fact that you have wheels,but who care ,not me. your still a person.
