I use a wheelchair. I have been working successfully as a Mac support technician at independent Mac dealers for a number of years. I am looking for a new position. I was curious as to whether any wheelchair user has worked as a Mac Genius, or any Apple Store customer has been served by or seen a Mac Genius who is a wheelchair user.

being in a wheelchair shouldn;t prevent you from getting a job anywhere your skills are in demand and there is a job opening- that would be discrimination

I am trying to build a segway, and i have a motor and motor driver from an old wheelchair. i am looking for some batteries for this

The first thing you need to figure out is all of your design issues first, what types of batteries were you looking at? The old standard for making these little vehicles was lead acid but lead acid cells suck, there are now Ni-Mh batteries that can perform the same job. Your next big hump is designing a charger and tha actual gearing system. Best of luck, I am currently working on a similar project.

It should have a neutural or no odor since many ppl who need wheel chairs also have other disabilities or allergies. In this area most wheelchairs are sold at larg drug stores and those smell like other drugstores. Wheelchairs in and of themselves should have no particular odor.

I have searched Roswell, NM for wheelchair rentals. I would like to contact someplace close to the motel to work with. We will be traveling to Artisia for my nephew's graduation & we will need a wheelchair for my mother. We are coming from NE so would like not to have to bring one with us.

I am in Paris and my friend's wheelchair hub broke tonight. It cracked in two places where the spokes go. Having a hard time finding a repair shop, wheelchair store or rental place. Love Yahoo Answers so I thought I'd throw it out there.

It is a TI Sport wheelchair with Spinergy hubs and wheels. Have checked their company websites but no dealers in Paris that I could find. Thanks!

Best bet would be to go in a Chemist (pharmacie), easily recognisable with their glowing green cross, and ask them.
Second bet would be to go to the big chemist at Gare St Lazare (exit Cour de Rome, right across the street when you come out), I bought my crutches there and seem to remember them having wheelchairs.
