He ran over to the noise and spotted Chad, sitting in his wheelchair, strapped in by what appeared to be a seatbelt of krusties. Upon noticing this, he called Mr Merk to try to get Chad settled down, but the krusties had overtaken him. The only thing he could do was get the strongarm of death from Chad.

our mother was in an accident on the nursing home van...she has had her legs amputated due to diabetes, she has no use of her left arm and barely strength in her right,of course she is in her right stage of mind though thanks be to GOD...on a particular day she was on her way to the doctor(which we found out later she didnot even have a doctor appt)anyways the girl that was driving the van she strapped the wheelchair down my mom was sitting in,but she didnot strap my mom down in the chair or the seatbelt...she was speeding and my mom told her that she could feel herself falling out the chair, but the girl kept driving telling my mom to hold on she will get her in a minute but a minute never came and my mom fell out the chair onto the van floor..she suffered a broken stump on the right and a head concussion she was sore for days..well we got an attorney and he suggested we put her out of that facility while investigations are undergoing...the question is how long does it take to settle?
As long as it takes to investigate all aspects of the case, and/or determine that the nursing home will not offer an acceptable settlement amount. Then you file suit.

I know this sounds weird, but my interest is purely scientific: I have noticed that female passengers almost always leave the car's seatbelt in a humongous tangle when getting out of the car. I'm not saying it annoys me, because I'm not that kind of guy. But it has me baffled - why do you do that? It must be on purpose, because it takes a lot to get them this messed up. I couldn't do it if I tried. Can you tell me, what do you think when you leave the car? Is the seatbelt something you feel especially negative about? Do you feel "chained down" by it and relish the escape? Or is it simply something you couldn't care less about?
I always think of my seatbelt as the thing that may, one day, stand between me and the wheelchair, and I treat it with a certain "keep it in good order and get it ready for the next mission" type attitude. What's with the abandon, I'd really like to know...?
1. Don't call women/girls "females". That's more for animals.
2. The seatbelt thing - they probably just don't care about it. If you think about it the seatbelt pretty much works whether it was left in a mess or not, as long as someone makes sure its "all back" before locking it. There's no big psychological thing behind it.
There is the chance, though, that you are someone who believes if you keep everything all in order and the way it should be you will have the power to keep yourself protected from all harm. This is a personality type of many young men, while many young women may have a broader view of things. It is, of course, wise to wear your seatbelt; and it is probably wise to try to keep it in good shape; but I can tell you, there is a point where all the trying to keep oneself safe in the world doesn't count.
I was in an accident where the driver had a seatbelt on (not because it was the "thing" at the time but because she liked the image of being careful and smart. The other passenger and I didn't bother. The driver wasn't just put in a wheelchair. She was killed. I learned the hard way that you can be as careful as you can be, but sometimes in this world it just doesn't make any difference.
I'm not knocking you for being careful, but no matter how careful you try to be you aren't the captain of this mission. Whether or not they're women or guys, maybe the "abandon" some of them seem to have has something to do with something they're learned.

My short days of only a few hours seems like weeks until the door opens and I hear cheers and chants for Chad entering the room, but this day is different for Chad has come to us with a cassette tape of Bluegrass Greatest Hits. He put it into the cassette player and listens for a minute and then all goes silent. Chad cant figure out what is wrong with this stereo. Then Justin tries to distract Chad by pulling on the wheels of his wheelchair. Chad tries to fend him off by swinging the seatbelt of crusties, but has no success. Just then, out of the corner of his eye he sees the stereo has been unplugged. Out of rage he strangles justin with the cord and then the bell rings to go back to class :/
Hi-fu*king-larious! I agree with the thing about fiction being a problem, but it may work since i don't know your assignment. I like how it is very introspective and sort of has that epic narratorial description at the beginning: "a few hours seems like weeks until the door opens and I hear cheers" and "but this day is different." Not to mention the humorous ending. This goes with my first comment more so, but i really like how bluegrass greatest hits whichwould normally make people puke, now gains an enshrined status because of it's unexpectedness.
Here are few corrections i would recommend: "He put it into the cassette player and listens for a minute and then all goes silent." Put is past tense while listens is present/tenseless storytelling tense. so change put to puts since you use the later tense throughout the story. Also, "My short days of only a few hours seems like weeks"... Despite what Ada25 says, "days" plural is fine since you are talking about a repeated period of hours (the school day) later reinforced by "but this day is different". However, you do need to change seems to seem since days is plural. Very good overall though.
look and answer please

Airline Seat | Traveler Earth
We will be flying with a 4 year old (35 pounds) and 2 year old (25 pounds) within the US. We want to use our car seats on the flight. If we have purchased full price tickets/seats for them and can show the sticker that says the seats are FAA approved, does the airline have to let us use the seats or can they make us gate check them if they just don’t feel like dealing with it? We plan to install the seats ourselves. The airline is Air-Tran. I have tried calling the airline and have gone into automated circles only to be cut off after 30 minutes on hold. I tried e-mailing and haven’t gotten a response yet. Have I mentioned that I am NOT impressed with Air Tran customer service so far? That is why I want to be prepared.
