Wheelchair Paralyzed

My good friend wants to travel to Egypt and see the paramids... I would like to take him there but I don't know how accessible that would be for an electric wheelchair?

I would also like to know if there are other nice places to take someone on vacation who uses a wheel chair? Money is not really a problem. Can someone give us some ideas? My friend has only been paralyzed for a 2 yrs and this would be a first vacation we would take together...

There are (or has been) some work/programs/devices that use electrical stimulation to cause muscles to contract. What happens is electrodes are attached to your body over the chosen muscle or muscle group. The muscle can then be electrically stimulated to contract, the device can be programed to provide rythmic stimulation just like doing a set of situps for instance. Some of these devices are gimmicky, but, perhaps your doctor could refer you to someone with some serious equipment. You should really check into this stuff !!!!!!!

I have a friend that has been in a wheelchair since a very young age, she suffers from a bone problem and her back and legs will not allow her to walk, but Ive been having dreams lately that she can walk. Does anyone have any ideas what this dream could mean? Thanks :)

you love your friend and really want her to be able to walk. this dream is just something that really has nothing to do with her being able to walk again soon.

What you are looking for is called a 'standing frame'.

You don't give your location so there isn't much point in me providing links to stores but if you limit your search engine to your own country and search you should find loads of suppliers.

The basic wooden frame version is called an 'oswestry standing frame' and you can also get an 'electric assist standing frame' so take a look through a search engine and I'm sure you'll find what you're after.
