Advocacy is very much a part of what Mosaic is involved in. They advocate both with and for persons with disabilities to ensure that they have the ability to choose from appropriate supports, have the opportunities to defend their rights, as well as the freedom to express their opinions.

Mosaic is a faith-based organization that serves people with developmental disabilities in several states in America. They believe that everyone is a person of worth. Working together, Mosaic staff members, people with disabilities, and volunteers combine efforts as partners. Mosaic is committed to being the leader in provision of advocacy, services and partnership on a worldwide basis with others who have the same values. The values that Mosaic is committed to promoting the ability of people to make life choices in an environment of respect, safety, personal growth and community involvement.
