For example...if I had a broken leg, where would I find a wheelchair that would have a rest for my leg & not just the ones for the feet?
any place that you would get a wheelchair with the regular rests should also have the ones that hold the back of your leg too. they connect to the chair the exact same way as the other ones.

I recently asked a question looking for some fun things to do for a weekend getaway and mentioned that the activities would have to be handicapped accessible being that one of my legs is in a cast from my toes to my thigh.
Considering I only recieved one answer to that question, I asked this question. So what are some fun things to do when your leg is broken and is in a cast, and your stuck in a wheelchair or using crutches?
(Assuming you're going to the beach) You could go to the beach and read a book while sipping a fruity drink, build a sand castle, go site seeing, take pictures...order people around like a queen lol Go get your hair and nails done and go out to a romantic restaraunt, make a scrapbook, go to a festival or craft sale - they are everywhere about this time of the year.

As a retired nurse, I have nothing to add to 'Be F's answer. Hope everything turns out well for you-
Hi. I broke my tibia and fibula, and i have a very long leg cast. (up 2 my thigh) I want to use crutches, but both of my parents think it would be better for me to use a wheelchair. I don't want to though! Im afraid that people will make fun of me or i will fall out of it or somethin. How can i convince my parents to letting me use crutches? Please help me!
Speaking only for myself, I hated to use a wheelie, and used one only when I was in the hospital to and from rehab and by the hospital's orders. Fortunately, I got used to crutches very easily and was an expert on them in about two weeks. A lot depend on your own personal strength and coordination. You might want to practice some at home to become proficient on your crutches and build strength. Also, does your Dr. have any recommendations? Good luck.
I thought he paralyzed and dont move. , I call him war criminal. He had weapon. He shoot me in leg, I am on crutches with leg injury, and will be home from work next 2 weeks. I may never walk again. This guy jerk.
Can I Get reimbursement for injury? Will lawyer take case against military?
You cant get paid for missing work on the weekends.

Video: Woman's leg grows, she leaves wheelchair! « MIRACLES ON THE ...
1) Report 2) Video 3) Summary
Today was an encouraging day on the streets. I prayed for one lady who started to feel “woozy” as God’s presence hit her, and then as I prayed for her arthritis she told me that she felt more of God’s presence and no pain! More importantly she accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and I took contact details from her. She expressed an interest in doing something like an alpha course or similar.
I then saw a lady in a wheelchair being transported by a man I presumed to be her husband. She had multiple infirmities, not least a spinal injury, an ankle problem, arthritis, and as I later found out one leg half an inch shorter than the other. She was in pain. As I prayed the power of God hit her. She felt heat, and pain left her back. As I continued to pray strength for her, I encouraged her to get out of her wheelchair and she took some steps, supported by her husband initially yes, but pain free! Not only that but I asked her to bend her legs which she hadn’t been able to do without pain! Jesus is wonderful! I prayed for her ankle and again she felt heat and pain leaving her. I asked her if one of her legs was shorter than the other. She told me her right leg was, but by this time faith had risen in the atmosphere of Heaven that was there tangibly and we believed that God would do this miracle. As I prayed she testified to feeling a pulling on her leg and warmth as God’s healing and creative power touched her. She walked again and testified that her leg had grown! See this video:
