Wheelchair Golf

I'm building a mini golf course in the UK and want to have wheelchair access. Obviously, the balls need to stay within a certain area on each hole, so we need a curb around it. Does anyone know the legal maximum height of a curb (in the UK) to allow for wheelchair use?

I was considering getting a golf cart to get around on campus for my college because I'm in a wheelchair and if it rained or snowed it would help out alot plus the campus of OSU is huge and I know I could park in motorcycle parking as long as I have it registered. I was just wondering what kind of gas mileage a regular golf cart would get, like a 2000 model, and if I got a electric one how far would it go until I have to recharge it?
I didn't want to know how fast it would go, I wanted to know how many miles I can get per gallon of gas or how far I could go on a full charge.

Golf carts generally get very good gas mileage. I work at a golf course and we only have to refuel the carts around twice a month. So I'd say they get around 20 or 30 miles per gallon.

You know what? I'm bloody desperate now! Ive had to turn down a Chevrolet Matiz that I loved and now a Nissan Micra wont fit one! My sister is disabled and although we dont go out together much, I still need to be able to fit her medium sized wheelchair[folded] in the boot! As well as being able to fit 2 people in the back. I know it can be done, but I dont want an ugly boring car! I like bubble shaped cars, Ford Ka, new Micra, etc, but it needs to have 5 doors as well! Im going to a car auction with a budget of £3000, but Im running out of ideas! Bloody puntos and golfs are boring and square, does anyone have any advice please. Thanks.
PS, this will be my second car and Ive only had my licence 6 months, so it has to be smallish.

say you and this girl go out to dinner or something, ya'll hit it off. you guys get to know each other on a more personal level. this girl feels like she can't offer you much. her disability puts her in a wheelchair, she says that she feels bad that she can't dance with you at homecomming, that she can't just sit next, or that she can't go mini golfing with you..
would you still make her feel good about herself, and tell her everything will be fine?

It would be difficult to have a relationship with a girl like that I won't lie. But if she was nice and pretty I certainly would try. Its not her fault and if she's a great girl then she's a great girl. I would date a girl like that.

he has been trying to get a motorized wheelchair, but has been turned down by the VA. He has asked to move down here with me to a small town where everything is 4 blox away, and that would be great, but I want him to be able to get around better. Does anyone know of a golf cart, or the like, that he could use with button controls?

dont take this the wrong way but my great grandmother lost both her legs from diabetes- i know it sounds harsh but a good old fashioned wheel chair is better-without your legs you lose motivation and exercise-a wheel chair will keep you and your heart healthy-ive known people who have legs and have the electric scooters-honestly for some they are great but others just turn into unhealthy blobs because there not gettin exercise and they become overweight and flabby-not good on a heart especially if your fathers older-my great grandmother lived to be almost 90 and had a healthy life and got around fine with a plain wheelchair-like i said dont take it wrong but once ya dont have to do much to move around ya lose exercise and also get depressed easy cause ya dont feel like you can do anything anymore-all ya gotta do is hit a joystick ya know-hope this helps
