Does anyone know any fitness suites that are also wheelchair friendly and near handsworth?

my aunt (by marriage) has to use a wheelchair too....and i think she's the strongest woman i've ever met, seriously. here's one thing i know that can get you a little work out thing...and that's finding someone to install a pull up bar in your room that is low enough for ya to reach...and just do pull ups....also get some light weights and use those for a month or so...then get a little heavier ones. hope that helps.

Can anyone please tell me of any organisations that deal with fitness for wheelchair bound people in Sheffield

Looking for a cheap way to exercise..can't afford fitness places or "Y". Am in wheelchair .arthritic knees.

would like to meet others in similar circumstances for exercise. Swimming not an option. I am old and fat . But I desperately need exercise. Any new ideas?

Why is swimming not an option? Being old and fat means nothing when you're in the water. Plus, the low-impact aerobics of water exercises will be the most beneficial to your arthritic knees.

Oh well. There are several chair exercises that might work for you. Here.

Does anyone know how I can tighten the muscles in my midrif as I am wheelchair bound?

I am wheelchair bound and would love to be able to get myself into shape and maybe have a six pack or flatten midriff. I can not walk at all and I also cant stand or support my body weight on my legs. Any advice would be very much appreciated. - From fitness people please.

Six Second Abs

Or you could pretend your hula hooping and move your belly around in a circular motion you can really feel it.
