32" minimum when the door is opened at 90 degrees
48 inches is the standard wheelchair accessible door width. I'm looking for doors that are 48 inchs wide. Lowe's does not sale them. I am looking for something cheap, nothing fancy. Thanks!
try two 24" doors. they will be a lot easier to hang. they'll be just like internal french doors.
if they are for the exterior they will be like external french doors.
this wheel chair must be very wide. my mother was in a wheel chair and i used 33" doors 2'9" she got through them with ease.
if it is imperative you have a 48" door it's unlikely you will be able to buy one off the shelf so to speak as 4' is not a stock size and would probably be made to measure. expensive.
