where to get a wheelchair backrest?

i have wheelchair that the company went out of business and now i need a new backrest. the rest of the chair is just fine. any help

If you are on Medicaid or Medicare and they paid for the chair - contact them as they will only pay for a replacement if they requisition it.

If not, contact a medical supply company that does repairs on your type of chair as they are the ones most likely to have a backrest in stock that fits.

In the U.S., perhaps Catholic Social Services...also, possibly a rental may be an alternative. Good luck and God bless you and yours. ...prayers for you.
