I take NJ Transit to Penn often and usually take the stairs/escalators onto 7th ave. I'll be traveling with someone in a wheelchair and it just dawned on me as much as I know Penn is fully accessible, I don't know where the street exits are for this purpose? Obviously I can just ask and follow the signs when we get there, but my friend isn't used to traveling via mass transit and would like to have everything all planned out ahead of time. Thanks!
You could also ask bus driver, Long Island Railroad, or New Jersey Transit employee or subway employees for New Jersey Transit accessible station.
I think it will be around 33rd St bet. 7th & 8th Avs I think.

I`m buying a new home but i`m bound on a wheelchair do to a car accident some times ago, and i would like to know before i sign anything and before i ask them and they will say , NO , u have to pay extra if there is a law that states that they have to make the home accessible for wheelchair access at no extra cost to me compare to the price of the house configuration ?
Any extra modifications you need are payed for by you. They are not required to make homes wheelchair accessible.
I was on my way about to do some work. When i saw this girl in a wheelchair push the bathroom door open with her legs. I was about to help but she got in before i could. So then i thought isn't that illegal to have a bathroom not accessible for the handicapped. Their is only one girls bathroom and one boys bathroom. So i went into the boys room and i look for the most accessible bathroom for a guy in a wheelchair. What they had was two railings so you can pull yourself up. That's was it for the most accessible bathroom and there were no signs for a handicapped person to indicate that's where there suppose to go. The hard part of our bathrooms is the leaving part. You can just push the door to get in but you would have to pull to get out.
So i just want to know if this is illegal of what they have.
the school is ITT Tech
Both public and private colleges must be accessible under federal law, regardless of the source of funds--under Title II (public) or Title III (private) of the ADA. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act applies to recipients of federal funds. The standards are somewhat different for each. For private schools, there also are differences based on when the facility was built or renovated.
Accessibility standards are often minimal. So, for example, there are requirements for doors in terms of width and weight, but they can still be difficult to operate for someone in a wheelchair, as you observed.

College bathroom is not accessible for handicapped students?

they have only one accessible door for handicapped people and that is the front door.
They have the plate, but that's about it. plus i know for the guys bathroom you would have to pull the handle to get out
Yes. There should be one of those plates that they can push to open the door. Call and inform the appropriate state agency.
I had a dream and I saw (1 person) in heaven and he was deaf and blind. And I went to Simon Peter and asked what happen and Simon Peter said, he never had any braille signs in his cafe or sign to any of his deaf costumer so that his punishment
The next person was in a wheelchair and I asked Simon Peter and he said he never made his shop wheelchair accessible so that his punishment
the 3 rd person I not sure about what to do with the third person either yet.
(the original joke people had an ugly partner for punishment for been naught on earth)
I think of it as you are trying to get a point past rather than a joke. Like you are trying to say be accommodating to those in need because you might have needs to be filled one day in your life (or in your story's case, afterlife). Or like you never know if you'll have to walk in someones shoes one day.
Maybe you can make the 3rd person poor & homeless because on earth they were like Paris Hilton*** or other snobby people who make fun of people who have no money and didn't wear designer clothes/shoes, drive expensive cars, wasted money on stupid things and never donated to any good causes and laughed at homeless people.
***She might actually donate, well her family does at least.
