It all depends on the person. Like me for instance, I get treated differently because I'm small and have no limbs so people automatically assume I can't do anything at all or completely ignore me. I hate it because I can do some stuff, but it's just because I'm different. People don't know how to act. But if you get one of those with a disability who feel sorry for themselves and don't even try and let people give them special treatment. If I can do stuff so can they. You don't need limbs to do so. I hate people who take advantage of people who don't know.

My mom is disabled, she has Multiple Sclerosis(idk if i spelt it right)and its so bad she cant even walk,she needs help just standing up. She spends her entire day in her "jazzy" electric wheelchair. My stepdad is and ass and sits around all day, he contributes nothing.I read something online about a hardship liscense. Can someone tell me what it is and if i can get on in NC.

NC does not issue hardship drivers licenses.

i am trying to help my disabled mother find a mobility scooter that can be driven in the back of a car without the need to take off the battery or fold it. That perhaps could be driven in with a ramp at the rear of the car. She has limited mobility and is not able to use a wheelchair or electric wheelchair. Your help would be so much appreciated if not life changing as it means my mother would finally gain her independence. I have a very good friend with Cerebral Palsy. He can't walk, or stand up, and uses an electric wheelchair. He can't use his left hand, because it looks like it is bent. I'm glad that he has a very positive outlook on life. In fact, my account is named after him, because he calls himself the "Latino Heat", after Eddie Guererro, the wrestler. Girls absolutely love him, but he's engaged. He's 17, and he's engaged to a 19 year old. They've been together for years. Anyway, back to my question. What is the average life expectancy of a person with cp? I really hope that the answer is good. Like, I hope that the life expectancy is the same as an average, healthy person. We became good friends because we have a common trait. Whemn I was born, the dr. told my parents that I'd never walk, because my legs were deformed. I can walk today, but only because of a risky surgery that was done. I still have weak ankles. But, I also have a type of Autism. We are friends because of disabilities+character

assuming he has no other health issues other than paralysis from cp, he has a normal life expectancy.
