I rent it and I have had problems before with the pad but everytime I would take the pad to get fixed they would say nothings wrong with it. So I want to get a new one. Does anyone know where I could buy or hopefully rent one since Im tight on cash. Please help I am very afraid of getting pressure sore thats what landed me in the hospital.
You can get them from most health stores, just call some and ask if they still have any in stock

I was out digging up this infernal snow, and the pressure from the shovel handle has caused the palm of my hand to become quite tender. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain, besides painkillers? It doesn't hurt a lot, but when I put pressure on it, it is rather sore.
deep heat or tiger balm
Has any body got any pain relief methods that they use or have used to stop the aching in my ribs? I'm 29 weeks pregnant and the pressure against my ribs is some times unbareable and occasionally makes it difficult to breath. Any ideas to help stop this pain without having to lie down and feel useless all day? Thanks in advance
have you gotten a prenatal massage yet? it might help :) sometimes you can get one at a massage school for a lot less $ too...just a thought, hope you feel better <3

I do a martial art called kendo once a week, which puts a lot of work on your calves, so I have pretty firm calf muscles. But I went on vacation and missed 3 weeks, and the practice immediately after I got back was a pretty strenuous one. I stretched well, and didn't think it was that bad, but the morning after, my calves hurt terribly. I don't think I pulled anything, but they feel really sore, and whenever I shift my weight to the front of my feet, or anywhere forward of my heels, it's really painful. If I try to massage them, or even put slight pressure on them, it hurts. It's been two days and they're getting a little better, but I don't think at this rate they'll be better in time for the next practice. Any quick remedy suggestions? (I'm in my teens, so I doubt it'll have lasting effects.)
I'd say a nice hot bath with epsom salts. Whenever I ran cross country and all parts of my legs and ankles became sore I always had them after school. Also listening to music while you do this is very relaxing.
Hot, painful, itchy sores for a few years now-due to previous RTA and complications afterwards.
After a relatively busty day in the garden & shopping my sore was painful & I decided to apply an old-fashioned remedy of bread poultice, crushed paracetomol and a pressure bandage. The relief of swelling, redness and pain is amazing-but is it damaging?
It really does feel 100% better...
Can you advise, as my next doctors appointment is not until friday and this poultice is a great relief.
Thanks in advance.
I cannot honestly see scientifically how paracetamol can possibly make any difference- specially topically and there is a risk some could absorb. How often are you using the paracetamol? The rest of the preparation is fine, I doubt there is any science behind it working but if it works then use it.
It probably won't do any harm, your GP might not advocate it simply because there may not be any evidence that it works, but it appears harmless and as I have said, if it works then use it.
This problem occurs due to pressure in the veins within the legs. Prevention is probably better than a cure in this instance. Try wearing support stockings which should reduce the pressure in the veins. Also try keeping your legs elevated when sitting down to prevent fluid accumulation.
The problem with using steroid creams for varicose eczema is that although it initially helps, it tends to dry and make the problem worse. If in really bad flare ups you do need to use a mild steroid cream then use aqueous cream with it too.
Continuous moisturisation and compression stockings are your best bet.

Increased Safety in Assisted Living | Pt Cruiser Accessories
Assisted living facilities are rapidly becoming the nursing homes of the future. According to the National Academy for State Health Policy, more than 36,000 licensed facilities are operating nationwide.[1] Because there is no common definition for these facilities, however, this number may not adequately reflect their prevalence.
Although most litigation in the long-term-care field over the last 10 years has involved nursing homes, suits against assisted living facilities are mounting. One reason is that these facilities are not regulated by the federal government, and the state regulations that exist are inconsistent and, for the most part, lax in enforcing industry standards.
