Power Wheelchair Lift

We have a Rascal power wheelchair. We need to know what type(s) of vehicles we can put a power lift into. My mother, age 80, will be driving so would like as small a vehicle as possible.

I don't know where you live...but put in your search engine "carlift" and check the list.
Something will be in your area. and you can get more proper advice from experts.:)

If you're parents are dead, why are you paying their bills? Give the collector the plot numbers as the address and ask them to collect from there. Once they're dead, their debt is not your responsibility.

My mother is about to turn 52 this year, but she is young at heart. She is my best friend. For seven years she has been in and out of nursing homes due to morbid obesity (which she still struggles with even after having risked her life to get roux-n-y gastric bypass that she was faithfully promised by her physician at the time would be the be-all-end all to her weight problem) and a broken leg that the Dallas, Texas veteran's hospital (where she was being seen at the time because my father is a permanently disabled war veteran and she gets health care because she is his wife) repaired improperly.

We are finally bringing her home, but we either need a van gifted, or even if someone would take a chance on us and let us pay one off, that would be a miracle! We need a heavy-duty full size van with a heavy-duty power wheelchair lift (my mother is 350 lbs before you even take the weight of her power chair into account). I would suggest that you check with your local United Way office. They can direct you to various local non-profit agencies that might be able to help you.

I have a 1991 Ford Econoline 150. Equipped with a wheelchair lift w/powered side doors. Drivers seat and controls are adapted for handicapped. TV/VCR, A/C, runs great.

You should post an add on Craigslist. Someone there may be looking for one.
