would Xavier's wheelchair be made of plastic?

...He said plastic won't hold paint like metal so to not bother...but I really dislike the colour and am therefore willing to take the chance.

So am wondering if anyone has painted one before and how it turned out, what type of paint to use (or places that could paint it for me and how much it might cost?) It's a 3-wheel scooter with not much area to paint but I don't want to screw it up!

Of course you can paint it. PArrot is the most accurate so far.

Just a couple of things to add. First, you need to rough up the surface with about a 600 grit sandpaper. Then, primer using a flexible primer. That is critical - that it is a flexible primer. You can get an aeresol primer from Keystone Automotive called "KeyGray" that works great, and it costs about $5 a can. Great coverage, so one can will probably be enough.

after primer, go over the entire surface with 600 grit, then 800 wet if you can. Clean the surface well with denatured alcohol - do NOT use rubbing alcohol, or any alcohol from the general store. Go to a place like Home Depot or Lowe's and get denatured alcohol - about $6 a can. Wipe the surface thoroughly.

Ig you are going to try using aeresol paint - rattle can spray paint - go to an auto paint store and look for the SEM brand. It gives great coverage, goes on smooth, and when done right can look pretty good. Of course the better way is to use true automotive paint - 2-stages from spray guns - but if you dont want to lay out the $$ to have someone do that, the SEM is the next best thing.

i dont see a lever only a lever to turn the chair. i really need to get my wheelchair charging and i just want to get to the battery but cant because the plastic and i cant take off the plastic without taken the chair off. plz help. thank u.

Hi,
I have lost almost 150 lbs and feel physically great but emontonally I am miseable. My face wrinkle and clasped and luckly was able to afraid and fix that to a liaveable way.
My problem my arms, stomach , and breast hang horrablably I use a wheelchair and the hanging skin makes it hard to push myself not to mention the skin infections. It would cost about $1700 to correct it all. Please no smart eleck answers I am depressed enough. Also credit care not an option.

Besides that, things that you can do will depend on your skills, being on a weelchair doesn't mean that you can't be usefull, a friend who is in a weelchair also is earning more than me working on his computer, so cheer up and go for it.
