Knowing that forward community cannot get a medical seat in India can anyone adivse how to go about getting a seat outside india apart from Russia. What r the tests, proceedures to follow.
Who said forward community cannot get a medical seat in India? If score well in the entrance test of that particular state and you're in the top 300 you'll definitely get the seat. If not there a ton of private medical colleges. Go pay the capitation fees and get one who is stopping you? Outside India apart from Russia the best medical colleges are in USA . But the fees in these colleges is prohibitively expensive. Just the tuition fees is like any where between $ 35,000 - $50,000 per year plus hostel charges extra. Lot of American Indians sending their children to India for medical education because it works out very cheap and quality of education is world class. So better concentrate in India only don't think about foreign medical colleges. Good Luck

Congrats on your excellent performance!! I guess you will definitely get both engg. and medical seats.As ram said better try for ECE or IT or CSE which has good scope.Not that eee doesnt have scope ,it is quite harder to learn and when lecturers doesnt take class properly, you are lost.

I am not sure, but I believe you have to pass some standardized test to get a nursing license, so if you can pass the USA test then you can get a license and get a nursing job in the USA.

BANGALORE: The number of medical seats in Karnataka this year has fallen by around 400, a direct result of the dissolution of the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the consequent move to re-inspect colleges that were granted approval in April this year.
Recognition granted to no less than five medical colleges in the State have been withdrawn and the student intake of KIMS, Hubli, has been reduced from 150 to 100. The list includes three government colleges (in Bidar, Shimoga and Raichur) and the S.S. Institute of Medical Science and Research, all of which were granted permission during inspection by the now-dissolved MCI inspection teams. Approvals, for admission or intake, given to 85 colleges across the country have been repealed and inspections are already under way, a member of the freshly-constituted MCI governing body told The Hindu.
