go to a holiday camp, we used to go to haven ones all the time, the kids will have loadsa fun, its relatively cheap and they have a lot of caravans designed for wheelchair users

I just saw Brad Paisley's music video for "Welcome to the future." They probably showed about 10 white kids, and every one of them was either in a wheelchair, deaf, or had an amputated leg. Non of the minority children were disabled. I thought this was interesting. Does Brad Paisley have something against white people?
Brad Paisley does a ton of work for Children's Hospitals and contributes to them in every way he can. I believe the children you are talking about are some of the children from various Children's Hospitals.
And, NO, Brad doesn't have anything against white people! :-) :-)

My family and I are going to Disneyland for Christmas this year. I'm not taking my 17 year old son because he's in a wheelchair. I don't think there would be anything for wheelchair people at Disney so I want to at least put him in some kind of a fun wheelchair camp like "Handi-Camp" or "Rolling FUNder." It's the least I can do because he really wants to go to Disney. Has anyone ever sent their wheelchair kids to a camp like this? Did have an OK time?

that way you dont have to go out of your way to take him there, he really just has to be pointed in the right direction.
and im pretty sure after all that fun, he wont mind wheeling himself back up the hill... and i think that people in wheelchairs have very short memories, so its not like he's going to stay angry for long.

Can the hospital not recommend a good supplier, surely they could get you one on the NHS or are you the wrong nationality. Sorry i don't meant to be abrupt, but it annoys me that you may be decent people who have worked and paid your NHS and you still have to go any buy a wheel chair for your child!!! Hope you find a nice comfy one for your son. Send him our love and kisses!!
