Someone told me that Joe Biden was giving a speech or something, and his friend, who is in a wheelchair, was there. Supposedly, Joe Biden asked him to stand up for some reason, and then couldn't understand why everyone was laughing at him. Did this really happen? I may not have all the details right; I couldn't find anything about it online.
The incident happened back in Sept. Biden was in Missouri. He asked State Senator Chuck Graham to stand up. He kept saying, "Stand Up Chuck, so people can see you." He did not realize that Graham was a parapalegic. I don't think many people were laughing at the time. Biden does have a habit of speaking before thinking.

Biden has Obama on the brain and thought he was God that’s why he said stand up to a man in a wheelchair. Then realized he was not! Or maybe Joe was hitting the bottle again. What is really funny is all the videos of Joe Biden this year saying he would never be VP and even Endorsed McCain. So Joe is confused right now and knows Obama is not the man for the Job. I am betting that in Joe’s heart and mind he knows that he {Biden} should be President not Obama as he has said in the past!
Actually, I’ve spoken/performed in more than a few venues where I had sparse info (sometimes no info, insufficient or simply downright bad) going in and had to recover from gaffes induced from too little information. Ole Plagiarism Joe didn’t steal this recovery, though; he did a darned good job for a hack politician to recover so slickly.
