We have a Jet 7 electric wheelchair that has set for a couple of years. After charging the battery it still?

won't move. Any ideas? Probably the batteries have gone bad?

wet cell batteries (like car batteries) are not good after 4 - 8 months not being used....the battery acid is sulphuric acid, and the sulphur comes out of it, leaving only water. The sulphur sticking to the plates stops the battery working even if you pt in new acid.
Get a new battery. If a standard car one fits, you buy it ready charged.
CHeck all the wires and cables are clean and not corroded Wash off corrosion with steel wooll and a mixture of 1 big spoon Soda bicarbonate in a cup of water - wear gloves as the corrosion can sting, (Soda Bicarb is also called baking soda and is about $2 in the supermarket. It neturalises the acid.)

Do they have private jets for wheelchair users?

Just curious, i've always wondered about that. i know larry flynt uses one, how do they get him in it?

Yeah sometimes it's kind of an ordeal getting them in and out as the doors on private jets aren't always the big enough. I work at the private airplane terminal at KDBQ (Dubuque, IA) and there's a gentleman that comes in here every so often in his Citation II*. They store a lift in the nose of the airplane which they put together to get him in and out. Like I said it's kind of an ordeal and he barely fits though the door with everything but they do it. It also takes quite a bit of manpower. Usually the pilot, and whoever else is helping, are pretty sweaty by the time they get done.

Ok, be creative....Can you think of a totally useless invention?
Piece of History

Example: Screen doors for jet airplanes, a jet powered wheelchair, a solar powered flashlight (only works in daytime).
You get the idea.

Does watching football on a day your team lose make you want to pop in Madden for revenge?

Yeah, I was playing a lot of Madden with the Ravens last year when they couldn't score if Jesus himself told them too. On average, I scored 30 more points than the Ravens did each week. I played on All Madden with my left hand broken.

11-Yr-old Internet superstore Allegro Medical recently unveiled a $387,568 jet powered wheelchair illustrating that the sky is the limit when it comes to making your wheelchair “beautiful”.  Probably not exactly what National Wheelchair Beautification Month founder Horace Knowles had in mind when he invented the July holiday, but Allegro considers its ‘Jet Chair’ beautiful nonetheless. The image of the supercharged wheelchair, complete with jet engine, fat run-flat high pressure tires, a rear airfoil, windsock and curb feelers (for easy parking) is part of an advertising campaign to encourage savvy wheelchair users to “Pimp Their Ride”.  The wheelchair is advertised for...
