I went from being completely innactive to biking 12-25km per day, 4-5 days per week. On average, I've been doing 50 to 100km weekly for the past three weeks.
My knees and legs were sore at first, but are fine now. My bum is still in agony, though. I got a large gel pad seat which doesn't seem to help much. I find myself in a weird position, trying to take pressure off my bum when I'm biking; and getting out of a chair days later is torture.
Will this ever end, or do I need a different seat?
I understand the pain of exercise, but while other pains have faded, this one has intensified. For all I know, it's a symptom of a bad seat, or something.
The first thing you should do is go to a bike shop and ask them if your bike is a proper fit for you. Typically there is soreness for the first couple weeks, and you may be overdoing it a bit since you just started. Take a few days or one week off the bike and then get back on you will be surprised at how much better it feels and how much more jump you have after a bit of a lay off.

I'm only 25, but have always had a lot of foot/knee/ankle pain. I'm not overweight & have no major medical or orthopedic problems. I broke my foot as a kid & was told that I had calcium build up on my heels. It caused pain, but wearing shoes & gel heel pads helped. It's not a prob now.
Recently, the sides of my feet next to the smallest toe have been very sore (one &/or both). There is not any ovbious reason for the pain- no bruise, callous... Looking online, the closest guess I have is that it might be a mild Taylor's bunion. Perhaps related to the heel pain (or the fact that I hate to have bare feet on floors), I often stand on the outer edges of my feet (w/ knees locked) or sit w/ the outer edges touching the floor (rather than the soles of my feet). I don't walk like that- it would be painful & not efficient (would roll my ankle). I don't mean to stand that way, but it's like hands on hips or slouching in a chair- a habit with bad posture! Anyone have similar probs or help?
So, when I was about 40, I guess, I finally broke down and saw a podiatrist. He had me change the way I wore shoes (I went up a size) and put me in orthotics (foot supports).
Basically, no problems since then. My insurance covered it and the orthotics have lasted 10 years now.
I also was hurting bad at the same time under the ball of the right foot and that has settled down as well.
I suggest seeing a podiatrist.

well dont use the scented pads and if anything lay off the feminine was and use a gentle soap like baby shampoo or dove even just plain water until you can see a doctor..no one can tell you exactly what that might be over the net but it may just be an ingrown hair usually called boils..it will eventually go away within a few days but if it doesnt please go see a doctor..i know you dont want to but if it doesnt just go..if you say you havent had sex then its probably an ingrown hair especially if you shave or anything like that but try not to worry and give it a few days and abstain from any sexual contact...take care!

I had been acquainted with the property for a little over a year. The people living there were pleasant, ordinary. Well, except for him. He walked into the kitchen in his plaid blue and green robe that I saw him in most of the time I came to see him. The belt was missing, like usual, he normally slept in his robes. He was wearing his black boxer-briefs as he walked in with a notebook under his arm. He had little modesty around me, but respected me enough not to walk around naked. His dark hair was still sticky with the gel he put in it yesterday, and his brown eyes weren't the normal shade of pink from being rubbed awake. He greeted me when he saw me sitting in a padded, rolling chair at the end of his kitchen table. I told him good afternoon as he handed me a bent, red, 70-page, spiral notebook.
I opened the notebook, greeted by his slanted, thin, and scrawled handwriting. The writer in me started to nag me when I noticed the grammar mistakes and slight misspellings. I flipped a few pages to a list:
Step 1: Research. Find an ample possibility, easy. Find out all you can about them.
Step 2: Get supplies. Anything that's small and nearly untraceable. Buy everything with cash. Stash it away, no one needs to know.
Step 3: Round up a small team. Anyone that can be fully trusted, not too intelligent. Lackeys, Space Monkeys. Easily disposable. Tell them as little as possible, only as much as they need to know.
I stopped reading the list and looked up at him, my blue eyes looking confused as my brows furrowed. “What is this?” I asked, my voice sounding a bit dead, harboring less emotion than I expected it to have. This list...I didn't like the way it sounded. “What is this for?”
He cracked his pearly smile, the one that made him look breath-taking but a bit threatening at the same time. Maybe only to me, though. I had a tendency to read more in what he did and said than what was actually there. A side-effect of love once lost I suppose.
“My plan for the future.”
I blinked, the gears beginning to turn in my head, searching 70 MPH through our most recent or memorable conversations. Our meetings, our arguments, our games, our teasing, our stresses...
“You mean your 'Get-Rich-Quick' scheme?” I asked.
“That's right.”
You're right, it is more like a beginning rather than a synopsis. But it's not a beginning, this part would not go at the beginning of my story. The connection between the narrator and the male character would need to be explored first, so a good part of the book would be spent doing that. During this section, I wanted them to remain nameless for now. Their names aren't important, and the relation to the property isn't as well. "His" table would hint to the fact that the male character probably lives there.
Sounds great. Write me and I will give you some neat links for new authors et al.

You’re mom is so cleverr.. my Kung Fu Baby has that problem, he is hot all the time and the fabric his car seat is made of doesn’t help at all here in Florida. If she’s looking for something to do, she should totally open an Etsy shop.. I’ll buy those and the shopping car seat cover too!! =)
Thanks for sharing!
You’re smart not to leave the cooling pad in the seat while the baby is in there – it’s not safe! They sell these cool little clip on fans at the Walmarts that plug into your car’s cigarette lighter that work great to help circulate air and keep the baby cool while he’s riding in the car. I think I paid under $10 for mine.
