Folding Electric Wheelchair

I need to buy the car now and i do not know what model electric scooter/wheelchair the other person will choose or how soon. e.g. scooter that can go up and down kerbs- the Australian Walkabout scooter- but it is 145 cms long and I think the Honda cargo area with the second row of seats folded up is 140 cms long.Would it be possible to get the scooter in at an angle? What weight will the folding table bear? The problem with buying a used car is that if they have been smash repaired the supposed dimensions vary and I find I have to measure each car. So I cannot just measure one model and assume the measurements will be the same for the same model.
I would like to know:
1. Where on the car it says the series - ie MY03

2. Where the engine number is located

3. Where the VIN number is on the car - I want to check it from the car itself,

Can you post photos of these. I saw one Honda and the engine number was written in a series of disconnected strokes and the NRMA have said to beware of engines with numbers written in that style.

I only know that the Vin number is located at the end of the front door in the front dash board on the inside by the driver side. i will say that SUV is kind off to high if you want to put an electric wheelchair in but they are a possible way to make it. check with your local Honda dealer for more information and i will find out more information about this question and i update and edited my answer again if i get a chance OK. good luck.

My boyfriend and I are going to visit NYC over Memorial Day Weekend. My boyfriend has cerebral palsy and can't walk very well, therefore he would have to bring either a wheelchair or an electric scooter. Which one would be better? The advantage of the wheelchair is that it can be folded up and taken in a cab. The disadvantage of the wheelchair is that he doesn't have the greatest upper arm strength and I'm afraid I would end up pushing him all over the city. Now the scooter would be ideal for getting around, but it's big and heavy and can't go in a cab so we'd probably be limited to the area around times square where we'll be staying, which is a bummer since he really wants to see the sights.

I would suggest you bring the folding chair so that you can get in and out of cabs when you or he get tired.

Or better yet, book a trip around the city on a Greyhound type company so that he can see all of the sights without either of having to push the chair! There are a lot of companies that do this type of tour in all major cities. You can see all of the major sites and if there's something you want to go back and see in longer duration, you can always catch a cab back there (just remember where it is!).
