A friend at a halloween party dressed up like Christopher Reeves. He wants us to forgive him. Should we?

I threw a huge halloween party at my house last halloween.

A friend of our got an old superman facemask that looks like Christopher Reeves, got a wheelchair, and came to me party. He dressed like Chris usually did when in the wheelchair, just regular dressy clothes. He tried talking funny and acting like a retarded. We felt the joke was in really bad taste and so we told him to leave, which he did.

he called me and my friends a few days later and we told him to get lost.

He called me this week and wanted to hang out. I miss the guy but he really crossed the line. Should me and and my friends forgive him?

He shouldn't make fun of Christopher Reeves condition nor handicapped or disabled people. Besides, Chris passed away. Just a really really bad joke I think.

Give him the chance to BE sorry and SAY he's sorry. Tell him that you thought the costume was super tasteless and it really offended you. This is his cue to apologize, sincerely. If he does, forgive him. I bet he will apologize - it's been months since Halloween, and everyone has calmed down.

If he doesn't (i.e., he tries to make excuses, or say that you have no sense of humor, or gets defensive), then ewww ... he's kind of a jerk. Do you really want him around?

Christopher Reeve talks about his wheelchair.

What was the name of the movie where Christopher Reeve(Superman) played the part of a man in a wheelchair?

I think the movie was about a perfect murder type of thing.
He did the movie quite a while before the accident.

The movie is .....Above Suspicion (1995)
An officer suspects that a well-respected former policeman, paralyzed after a shootout, is planning an untimely demise for his unfaithful wife.

One of Chris' best roles...a chilling portrayal of a man betrayed...and a touch of revenge...served ice cold. Excellent...

Stephen Hawkins or Christopher Reeves?

Who would win in a Ben Hur style wheelchair race?

Yes, I know I'm going to hell for this one.
And I misspelled it. Oops.

Your question is incredibly insensitive. Do you write for South Park?

Steven Hawkins VS Christopher Reeves.....who wins in a fight to the death??? I know Reeves is dead but go with

me on this. Superman may have a slight edge....but Hawkins could formulate some wicked angles to ram his wheelchair that would knock Superman off balance....close call......who would you put your money on????
Yes Ray it is a retarded question....but admit it....you chuckled a little when you read it didn't you!!!

This has to be the most retarted question I have ever seen on yahoo but I will answer this. I would put my money on Steven Hawkins just because he is smart as hell and he would find a way to win.

Did you hear about the guy in a wheelchair that got real pissed off?

He said he was tired of being pushed around by everyone.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Actually it's from the episode of South Park I am watching now, where Christopher Reeve gets mad cause no one wants him to use fetuses to get well. Man, I laughed till I cried when he said that. Did anyone else see it?

I laughed so hard I nearly pissed myself...And that would not be good, cause I'm in a wheelchair....

Christopher Reeve died of a cardiac arrest in 2004

Published: March 05, 2010

On October 10, 2004, ‘Superman’ hero Christopher Reeve died of cardiac arrest. Christopher had a history of medical problems dating back to 1995 when Reeve had a near-fatal fall during a horse-riding event. After this incident he was a quadriplegic, and he could not come out of the clutches of paralysis. He was bound to his wheelchair and countless tubes that kept his body functioning. Christopher Reeve developed a pressure wound because of the paralysis, which caused him a systemic infection called sepsis. He had experienced this problem on several occasions previously, but in October 2004 he succumbed to this prolonged illness. Christopher’s death certificate stated a medicinal reaction as the cause of his death. He was 52.
