No report was made about it at the time, and it was finally brought to the department head's attention via a video. This wheelchair bound man has no feeling from the chest area down, and I believe that two ribs were broken in the incident.

I saw that vid just a minute ago. Every commissioned officer in that room should have their commission revoked, Every department employee to include commissioned officers should be charged with felony assault or accessory to. This would keep them from getting any govt job or any other job that required a security clearance.
This is a good example of why the partiot act should be revoked and no person should desire the govt to solve your problems. Give someone a badge and the trust to protect you and they abuse physically challenged people. what a cryin shame.

WHAT IS THE TITLE OF THIS HONG KONG BASED ACTION MOVIE SHOWN IN CCTV? see details?
I am not really sure if its a Hong Kong action movie or japanese..though the former is more likely. The things I remember is that there is this girl who is like an assasin but is now doing menial chores (i see her doing something in the backyard with a companion) and is like a guest in this family, where one male is like gifted (retarded) and does origami and stuff..(is in a wheelchair)..my guess is that she lost her memory and was adopted by the family.. im not sure.. for the ACTION PART..the bad guys murdered most of the family members.. the girl fights the bad guys in the forest (lotsa trees in the background) she fights with a sword.. and like she is fighting with yakuzas (in the usual suit).. i remember the girl cutting an opponent diagonally from the shoulder down. Thanks in advance. It was shown about 4 years back on CCTV on cable.

Here is the deal. I am totally in love with this one girl. She is pretty much the humanized form of perfection. Now here is the problem: She has already made it known that she will not go out with anybody, let alone me.
My personal problems include: being fat, being weak and physically disabled, I have social problems including hating mankind and not wanting to be in a group of more than around 5 people, I am a total nerd (see the song white and nerdy for reference, and instead of a segway, insert a wheelchair), and I have major confidence/self esteme issues.
Even more, there are two other guys (obviously better choices) who want to go out with her.

Dude, you have a dilemma. In your post it sounds to me like you already know what you need to address about yourself, the hate and self esteem issues. Fix these things as best you can, by either getting involved in activities such as church, or hanging out with positive people, and so on. You need to fix these things before you are ready for a relationship. Trust me, this girl should not be concerning you so much, I hate rejection too, but making yourself stronger here is what you should do. Change your ways, and you may change her mind. At the least you will be giving yourself a much better chance for future success with women if you can better your attitudes.

I'd like to start a Starbucks franchise, but need some advice. I have a physical disability, but have full use of my upper body; currently, I'm in a wheelchair. I know, with an education, I could handle the business end (manager stuff).
I briefly looked at a site with information on a Starbucks franchise, and it said that they provide training. But I'm thinking that taking college courses/getting a degree would be helpful. If I did take college course/get a degree; any suggestions as to what degree/courses to go for?
I'm on limited income, but know of at least one agency (VESID) that might give me a grant to start my own business. Would anyone know of any other agencies that could possibly help me out with the financial matters?
Any advice, suggestions, plan of action is welcomed. Thank you.

I think starting a coffee shop is a great opportunity. Unfortunately, I think you can only sell starbucks coffee with your own franchise, not franchise one of their shops. Check out their FAQs on franchising.

Unless you want to leverage their brand, I would suggest another coffee brand that does franchise in North America, or perhaps try starting up your own brand, depending upon how much funding you have available.

is just for blacks and latinos? AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROTECTS WOMEN, THE DISABLED AND THE VETERANS. IF A COMPANY does not have any minorities to hire, you can hire a WHITE WOMAN and still be protected. the disabled are constantly be discriminated. they have no wheelchair ramps in EVERY place. and the veterans who give their lives get cheap benefits, so why do most white want to take away AA? DON'T YOU REALIZE THAT YOU'RE HURTING THE WOMEN, THE DISABLED AND VETERANS?

I don't understand why the fuss from all of your responders! Blacks aren't the only ones who benefit from these programs, but it would do good to remain in effect because when we try to get by on our own intelligence we are put to shame by lies, and end up never going to college or hired. Watch what happens when AA goes away...slavery all over again, and why? Because white folks who make six or seven figures are crying!
