Accessories For Wheelchair

I am designing a product for my A level in product design, However i need some results from users in wheelchairs!

An umbrella type device to cover the person in the wheelchair but leaving hands free to operate the chair...
some sort of suspension for the wheels would be a good idea as well, as going over rough surfaces can be a nightmare...good luck...good question.

I am trying to look for a store here in the philippines that sells mobility aid products for my husband (he is wheelchair bound). (e.g ramp, toilet seat cover so it won't sit low for him and some other bathroom accessories for wheelchair bound people.)

For my wheelchair, i need to jazz up my wheelchair?
This may seem like a bit of a stupid question, but i really need something to jazz it up.
Its just boring at the moment, its boring steal frame, and leather seat?

They have light up front casters in all colors now. You can make a slip cover for the cushion. Other then that not much.

as a person who pushes a wheelchair a lot - I would sugguest you redesign the handgrips on the back of the chair. As a person who is over 6' tall I get a backache after leaning over to push down on the handles after about an hour or so.
