I've never heard of a walker with a seat, but you might try a medical supply store. If they are a vetern try your local DAV (disabled American vets)

Walkers: What are the pros & cons of 3-wheeled walkers, with a seat?

Any personal experiences welcome, as well!
If this question should be in different category, which one?


Pro: they are easier to maneuver in tight places
Con: they are easier to tip over so I wouldnt recommend to someone who is weak all-around
Pro: they tend to be cheaper than 4-wheel devices
Con: they tend to be cheaper (not made as well, can break easier)
Pro: easier to transport in cars or buses

Where can I get a rolling walker?

I am traveling to Europe and I know I'll be doing a lot of walking. I want to know where I can get the kind of walkers that have wheels and a seat in the Chicago area?


Most any pharmacy can either sell you one, or tell you where to buy one. Brady's Pharmacy and Home Med Care is one such place, it's at 3235 W 111th St, (773) 238-6686. I went to Yahoo local, and typed in "walkers and wheelchairs" and Chicago Illinois" came up with several medical equipment places

Where can I purchase a set of wheels for my walker in Liverpool N.S.W.?

I have a "My Mobility" brand walker with brakes and a seat and one of the tyres have developed a split in it. I live in the Liverpool area N.S.W Australia Does any one know where I can purchase a new tyre? I am desperate this is the only means I have of getting around.

chair with wheels to let disabled woman work in kitchen needed?

i weigh 310, im 5'6 and I am spinal injuried ; my physical therapist said I need to buy a chair with stable wheels and a seat wide enuf like 18 inch is the min, really need 22 inch wide by 16 inch deep, and is high enough like can raise to 40 inches from the floor so i can reach stove and sink, counter and freezer; anybody ever heard of this ? a walker is not high enuf seat, an office chair ususally won't hold my weight or be high enough . please help if you can


maybe a really high electric wheel chair? or one with some kind of modified seat?
