Walker With Seat

I have a walker that my son used but the fabric on the seat got ruined so we had to throw it away. Now we are expecting our second son and I was wondering if anyone knew if you could just buy a new seat for the walker rather than buying an entirely new walker? I went to the Safety1st website and looked but couldn't find anything. Thanks.

The first answer was good... In a sense. See who made the product, and contact them... If that is what you really wish to do.

However, be aware that if you do get the part, and fix it... You are dealing with a product that no longer posesses the stringent measures required when manufacturers produce children's products.

You might also wish to know that in Canada, where I live... The baby walker has been banned for many years. This move was made because of the vast number of infant deaths attributed to these devices... Both new and used. Now ask yourself... Do I really want to repair this device? I hope not. The dump has an empty spot!

My Father In-Law NEEDS these things and we do not have the money for them--He has Medicare AND Citrus Care Health insurance and NEITHER will help pay for them! Frustrating!!

looking at it like he wants to go in it he is used to being in it thats why and i washed it last night and its still not dry

I'd stick it in the dryer on low heat to dry it, or put it in front of a fan.

In the movie Running Scared, there is a song playing when Paul Walker is driving with the character Oleg. Paul Walker says "this song will be warming up the back seat of the car when your ready to be laid". Does anyone know what song it is when its playing? Its a good song. It sounds old school.

I was just wondering.

I am a child care provider, and I stop using toys like these depending on when they hit certain milestones. Once your little one starts crawling, he/she will most likely prefer that freedom. It's also very important to give them as much floor time as you can to practice things like crawling/standing/walking on their own.
A bouncy seat and jumperoo is a popular toy for infants..most babies love to jump, and it also strengthens those legs. Once they are mobile & trying to walk, babies will not last as long unless your little one really enjoys being in these toys.
A swing is great for soothing and relaxing babies. I don't usually use the swing for any sort of play, as the motion more than likely puts them to sleep. Once babies reach a weight when the swing no longer can move on its own is a good time to retire it.

A good time to retire any of these objects is by age 1. By then, they are far more energetic (and big!) to be confined, and it will not stimulate them anylonger.
