Walker Three Wheel

As I get older I find it hard to lift things. I got a van that the trunk opens from the key. I got a three wheel walker for stores (except grocery stores). I got a 4 wheel cart to get groceries from the van to the house.

I put a water bottle near the bed to take morning meds that are in a bedside table instead of in the bathroom.

Any more tips to save time and energy?

1. Pay bills on line, don't bother with postage unless absolutely required.

2. Don't use top shelves or bottom shelves, just put everything in the middle.

3. I only make my bed once a week, when I wash the sheets, of course if company is coming I will alter my routine.

4. My meds are in a weekly box, put them in once a week, take them as required and then refill them at the end of the week. I have trouble remembering and opening bottles; this way I know what and when I've taken my pills.

I work with the elderly and I have concluded there are two types.
1. the person who turns 65 and wants everything because they feel they deserve it. Even if they don't need it. They can walk just fine and they get a cane walker and even a wheel chair
2. The second is who concerns me most. The person who really needs help but refuses it. I see people all the time that would really benefit from a cane or walker but refuse saying it will make me fell old. Well I am sorry if you are 86 and falling three times a month because you don't have balance or your legs are to weak I think you are old. Why do they wait till they break something to accept help. If they take what I offer they will prevent falls and long hospital or even nursing home placements while they recover.
So why don't they accept the help they need?

Oh, My hubby's grandmother is a definate #2. Someone has been with her every night since the death of her husband 4 years ago - and she just can't understand why her children say they have no lives! It's taking the family to move her (against her will) into an assisted living home as we just can't care for her 24/7 anymore.

Well, I have no idea about the content of some of these books that you listed. From the looks of it, most of them are fiction books. But the listing of Sun Zi Art of War is the one that caught my eye.

I would strongly recommend Sun Zi Art of War for the following reasons.

1) Although it is an ancient book, its principles have found many applications in many fields, especially in relationship and business.
2) Everytime I read the book, I always gather new insights that makes me feel that I have benefit a lot from it. How many books can do that?
3) Sun Zi Art of War strengthens one strategic mind that can be very useful in life because in life we need to formulate a lot of strategies to achieve what we want.

But do take note that you get a good translated copy of the Sun Zi Art of War so that you can better capture the essence of this great work. I would recommend one that is written by Prof Wee Chow Hou. It is the best translated copy so far and it is one that is translated by a Chinese.

I am a big fan of music. I also like a fairly wide variety. Though, I'm not really into the newer mainstream stuff.
