Standard Walker

When my kids were babies I noticed that when their hips were as high as the table portion of the walker while standing in the them then over half their body weight could lean over the table. That looked like it could increase the risk for tipover. Wheels came about 1 or 2 inches off the floor when baby was getting a bit too energetic. It was time to quit using it. They were tall but they walked independently at 10 months old so they never got too tall for the walker until right at the time they walked on their own. Are these new adjustable height walkers actually taller walkers? Do the wheels stay on the floor (not even a small 1 or 2 inches of tipping) even when the baby is taller/longer? Just curious.
Couldn't falling down the stairs occur when the baby is crawling too? Babies run very soon after they walk at 1 year old or younger. They can get into pretty scarey situations then too. Doesn't all of this boil down to supervision and keeping stuff out of baby's reach?

Don't use a walker they are dangerous and discourage the development of walking. I had a johnny jump up that I used with my daughters, a playpen and my babysitter used an excersaucer, which is stationary but lets the baby stand. My kids were both walking on their own by 10 months and my youngest one was (and still is tiny). I knew someone whose daughter rolled down the steps in a walker and that child is now severely disabled. If it were up to me walkers would be banned. Besides at the age where they are using walkers, they can get into so much trouble.

standard 4 walker

A random walker, who takes a step to the right with probability p and a step to the left with probability q (p + q = 1) takes n steps. What is the variance and standard deviation of the position of the random walker after n steps?
(Hint: Find the second moment first. Use the fact that the variance of the binomial distribution is npq and the mean is np.)

I know the second moment = Σ(i=1,n) x^(2)_i * p_i and the mean is n(p-q), but how would I calculate the 2nd moment... I posted this several times previously but I haven't gotten an answer that I can follow... thanks in advance!

The number of steps taken to the right has a binomial distribution. Express the walker's position in terms of this variable, and then calculate the variance.

For that question you kind of hae to researcha little bit about the stallion. My arabian mare that was bred to a Quarter Horse ended up a Quarab filly. Also ask Has this Stallion ever bred before? If so look at the Foals and see what sex they are and what breeds they came out to be. Hope I helped!!!

A Hemi-Walker is a walker that someone uses that has had a stroke. A standard hemi-walker is too short. They only go to 34". I need one that is at least 42".
