Rolling Walker

I am traveling to Europe and I know I'll be doing a lot of walking. I want to know where I can get the kind of walkers that have wheels and a seat in the Chicago area?

Most any pharmacy can either sell you one, or tell you where to buy one. Brady's Pharmacy and Home Med Care is one such place, it's at 3235 W 111th St, (773) 238-6686. I went to Yahoo local, and typed in "walkers and wheelchairs" and Chicago Illinois" came up with several medical equipment places

yes, that is what it is for, but if you put too much weight on it, it will not move to well. So acrobatics are out.

she's the perfect age.
We just got our 5 month old daughter an exersaucer. she loves it. I plan on getting her a walker next month.
all the bs about walkers being dangerous comes from parents that do not pay attention to their children....ie: letting them pull cords from tv's etc, not putting up baby gates to prevent them from falling down stairs.....etc....
when my son was 5 months he had a walker and we had wood floors....he was everywhere!
I went to HomeDepot and purchased a cheap hose and cut it into sections......I placed them on the floor as blockers in front of the things a baby gate couldnt fit..........the tv, plants, screen doors...etc it worked GREAT!

I want to buy an affordable walker for my son but I don't know which one. I need something small ( I live in an apartment ) and that can roll easily on carpet and hardwood floors. Does anyone know? And on another note, does anyone know how to remove the seat from an intellitainer? It needs to be washed. Thanks!

I understand the dangers of walkers and was hesitant to use the one I received for my baby shower. However, when my son wasn't happy with just me holding him, my husband decided we'd use the walker. We have a very small apartment with carpets and linoleum and so far, our son has been safe the past 2 months rolling around in it. We keep a very close eye on him, especially when he bumps into furniture. I have a Precious Moments walker (kinda girly for him but he doesn't care) and it's good so far. The back wheels don't turn for added safety, but you still have to watch them very carefully.
