Rolling Walker Seat

I am traveling to Europe and I know I'll be doing a lot of walking. I want to know where I can get the kind of walkers that have wheels and a seat in the Chicago area?

Most any pharmacy can either sell you one, or tell you where to buy one. Brady's Pharmacy and Home Med Care is one such place, it's at 3235 W 111th St, (773) 238-6686. I went to Yahoo local, and typed in "walkers and wheelchairs" and Chicago Illinois" came up with several medical equipment places

I am 27 years old and I am planning for my future.
I work as a nurse aide with senior citizens and middle aged people.I'm in school for early childhood education.
I just want to buy a few things for my future so that when I become a senior citizen, I will be prepared.
Where can I get a walker with a built in seat for discount price?
I have seen some of these walkers at Walgreens for about $127.
Is there a website or place where I can get a rolling walker with a fold down seat for cheaper than $127?
I also need the walker because every year I injure my legs dancing.I dance and every once in a while at least once a year I get injured dancing.It comes from not stretching before I dance and I always end up on crutches for 2 to 3 days.
The walker will come in handy when i become a senior citizen though too.
I just want to get a couple of things so that when I become a senior citizen I will be prepared.
I want to get a bed pan, a commode, a bath pan, and a standing cane.

Kate-Ann, you don't need to be preparing for your future by purchasing those items for yourself. If you really want to prepare yourself, invest that money while the market is low and let your money work for you. I think your heart is in the right place, but you should focus on getting your finances in order to support yourself when you're a senior citizen. But not by purchasing those items you think you will need when you are that age. With technology the way it is, it may all be obsolete by the time you're there! Now, if you are interested in purchasing those items for those you work with, I would suggest talking to the administrator(s) of the facility you work for. You may want to give them the link below to help them find lower prices. And the best of luck with your education in early childhood education. I want to buy an affordable walker for my son but I don't know which one. I need something small ( I live in an apartment ) and that can roll easily on carpet and hardwood floors. Does anyone know? And on another note, does anyone know how to remove the seat from an intellitainer? It needs to be washed. Thanks!

I understand the dangers of walkers and was hesitant to use the one I received for my baby shower. However, when my son wasn't happy with just me holding him, my husband decided we'd use the walker. We have a very small apartment with carpets and linoleum and so far, our son has been safe the past 2 months rolling around in it. We keep a very close eye on him, especially when he bumps into furniture. I have a Precious Moments walker (kinda girly for him but he doesn't care) and it's good so far. The back wheels don't turn for added safety, but you still have to watch them very carefully.

How can she sell these items? There is a local EBAY retailer, but she doesn't know EBAY works, so she doesnt trust easily

Just take them into the retailer and they will take care of the rest. They'll do the photos and list the item etc. They will take a percentage of the sale though for their efforts. They are generally reliable, particularly the ones that have physical shops since they are planning on staying where they are.
