Portable Walker

I walk and listen to Baseball but it only comes in on am station. Any suggestions for a good reception radio for walker/jogger?

get an older walkman from a thrift shop for 3 bucks,,,radio shack sells garbage,,,walgreens,made in china, ditto,jansen,crapola,made in china
I bought an aiwa amfm & cassete for 3 bucks,,,,takes aaa bats,last longer with mechanical dial tuner,has more powerful amp,no need to see dial in dark,,,,,get a 5 buck pair of headphones from the same source,,,,,buy good headphones first ,,weak spots in headphones are mouse wires that break prematurely,or a piece of plastic that breaks/ then the radio,bring a spare pair of aa,and aaa batteries to test prospects,think you'll find older stuff still working well,and better than the lil blue digital doodad sold by best buy,this piece of crap sells for 30 bucks,is in fact worth fifty cents,1 double a battery blows out in 3 days

I pick up after them. The walk is from 1-1:30 every day during the summer. I also bring portable bowls for the dogs to share if they get thirsty i fill them up with water. Its only around my neighborhood for a half hour, though. Its only for my neighboorhood dogs. How much should I charge for small dogs and big dogs?

I would say that $3 per dog would be a reasonable price, unless your neighbors aren't just lazy and can't walk the dog because they are at work, then I would charge $5.

I walk for miles along a certain street to relax, but every time, I notice this old man who also walks the street. Only, the poor man is walking literally bent over, I mean, REALLY bent over, it looks like he's picking up a penny, only that's how he walks. I can't imagine the pain he must be in. He has no wheelchair, no walker, not even a cane. I pass by him a few times a day sometimes, and I really want to help make things more bearable for this man. I suspect he's homeless, but I see him with a portable radio and sometimes, grocery bags. I hate to sound judgemental, but he looks like he could be mentally unstable, so I've been too nervous to do anything but give him a kind smile or say a shakey "hello". I volunteer for a nursing home. Do you think I should buy a cane and just hand it to him (how much do they cost?)? Do you think the hospital can make arrangements to get this man a wheelchair? I just can't ignore this problem. What can I do to help him?

Are you sure we don't live in the same town?! There is a guy like that where I live too.
Anyway, he may not be in pain. It may look painful, but it doen't mean it is. I think it's very sweet that you want to help him, but unless you stop and talk to him, you really can't. You don't know his story, you can only assume. He could be an excentric millionaire for all you know.
Take a friend along on your walks and stop to talk to him if you are afraid to do it alone. Once you know his story, you'll know what to do.
