Knee Walker

My girlfriend has a bunch of Madame alexander dolls and we can't figure out what the difference is between bend knee and bend knee walker. can canyone help?

Bent knee walker moves the head from side to side so as she can walk, she has a rod that runs into the head. The bent knee just will bend at the knees to sit.

The bent knees and walkers are much more valuable that the straight leg madames. On ebay they are called BKW and BK if you search

I'm looking for a device that is similar to a walker, with a sling type thing for your knee to keep weight off the ankle. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, if there is a correct term for it and where (website) I can find one? My mom recently broke her ankle and has to stay off for 6 weeks. The wheel chair is cumbersome and she's having a hard time with crutches. Any suggestions would be great!! Thanks so much!

Her leg feels wobble when she tries to stand on it. She is going to physical theropy 2 times a week. Is this normal not being able to walk after a knee contusion. She is 56yrs old 5' 7" and only weights 125 and was very active before the fall if that helps any.

Nope, not normal for a simple contusion (which basically means bruise). Does she have arthritis or osteoporosis? Did the doc have an MRI done? If not, she probably needs to have one. If I were you, I'd request a referal to an orthopaedic specialist. Again, 2 months on a walker after a contusion is not normal! Good luck!

Do you have insurance? Some medical supply places will accept insurance only or will work out an easy-payment plan for the difference.

Walker's knee is making me wonder how quickly he can bounce back.

Pittsburgh has the lowest yards allowed per game in the NFL and a much better defense than Tampa. The only reason Walker put up good stats in Weeks 1 & 2 was because Oakland and Buffalo were their opponents. Coming off a bye week, the Lions should be good. Kitna will be looking to go to Johnson more because they haven't utilized him as much as a 2nd overall pick should be.
