I am 27 years old and I am planning for my future.
I work as a nurse aide with senior citizens and middle aged people.I'm in school for early childhood education.
I just want to buy a few things for my future so that when I become a senior citizen, I will be prepared.
Where can I get a walker with a built in seat for discount price?
I have seen some of these walkers at Walgreens for about $127.
Is there a website or place where I can get a rolling walker with a fold down seat for cheaper than $127?
I also need the walker because every year I injure my legs dancing.I dance and every once in a while at least once a year I get injured dancing.It comes from not stretching before I dance and I always end up on crutches for 2 to 3 days.
The walker will come in handy when i become a senior citizen though too.

Kate-Ann, you don't need to be preparing for your future by purchasing those items for yourself. If you really want to prepare yourself, invest that money while the market is low and let your money work for you. I think your heart is in the right place, but you should focus on getting your finances in order to support yourself when you're a senior citizen. But not by purchasing those items you think you will need when you are that age. With technology the way it is, it may all be obsolete by the time you're there! Now, if you are interested in purchasing those items for those you work with, I would suggest talking to the administrator(s) of the facility you work for. I bought this for my 83 year old dad after he suffered a stroke. He and my mom took it on a cruise along the Mexican Coast with them. He said it worked great. He was able to navigate through rough gravel, etc. thanks to the big wheels. The seat worked great for when he needed to stop and rest or when just waiting in line for something. If my mom ever needs one (82 years old), then I am going to buy a second one. It’s way better than the basic one the hospital discharged him with.
I bought this for my mother and I was little apprehensive about it’s sturdiness since she’s a tall big woman. When I got it I was pleasantly surprised to see that not only is it very light weight and beautifully finished in Red but it also easily held my bulk. (6′ 1″ and 215lbs.) My mother loves it and is using it for exercising.
