Fall prevention using a 3 or 4 wheeled rollator is desired. I am interested in a comparison of the safety of these two devices.
I have a four wheel walker with handles to push with. It also has hand brakes and a seat on it so you can sit down and rest. Most of these have a small wire basket that can be attached to the front of the walker if you need it, as in shopping. Ask your doctor for a prescription for one of these and if you have medicare or insurance, they will probably pay for it. I think they are about $100.00. By the way, it does fold up so you can transport it via auto. Good luck.

manueverability and also stability between the 3-wheel and the 4-wheel different styles of rollators available today. I am leaning toward the 3-wheel style only because it looks less medically debilitating and cumbersome. But, I want to know if anyone has tried both and, if so, which did they find safer and prefer?? The two different models I am considering are:
