3 Wheeled Walker

Any personal experiences welcome, as well!
If this question should be in different category, which one?

Pro: they are easier to maneuver in tight places
Con: they are easier to tip over so I wouldnt recommend to someone who is weak all-around
Pro: they tend to be cheaper than 4-wheel devices
Con: they tend to be cheaper (not made as well, can break easier)
Pro: easier to transport in cars or buses

This was a 3 or 4 ring inflatable tube primary colors baby walker on wheels. I would love to find one for my grandchild. It worked great for my kids. If you know who made this or still does please let me know.

They aren't made anymore sadly, pediatricians are trying to phase out walkers all together. I did find a picture for reference, you might find something on ebay..but I haven't yet.

As I got older found I needed to make things easier, even in small ways. I put scissors, paper & pen in every room so I don't have to walk elsewhere to get them. I set things beside a doorway until I have a bunch instead of walking so much here, there, and yon to put things away.I set up a 'coffee' center on the counter in the kitchen with the pot, creamer, sugar, spoons in a cup. I got a second 3 wheel walker for in the house so I can leave the other one in the van. I put new recipes in photo albums. I got those small pop-up phone address books for main numbers to put by each phone.

Any tips you have will be appreciated.

I have a wicker basket on top of the T.V. that I put all the incoming mail in till I get to bill paying day. It is also where I put my keys and T.V remote. I make a list of things I need at the store for days. It cuts down on trips. I cut coupons too. I went to the pet store and made I.D. tags with only my phone number on it. I put them on my keys, purse, and such. I label and date frozen food.

I'm living in a doulbe wide mobile home a wheel chair ,walker won't go thru the doors..agin we've been doing the best we can for almost 3 years..lawyers and workmans comp..don't care..I don't realy want to loose the little 2 aceres of dirt I'm on..but ya'll I can't do this alone any more I need some help idea..somebody get MAD with me..polly

have you talked to a real estate agent about selling the home you're in and helping you find another? That might be an option. If you are disabled, the state may be able to help, you probably need to call medicaid or medicare if you have either of those.

I am searching products right now and am astounded at the price variation of these 3-wheel strollers!

I am not a runner, but a fast-walker (3 miles per day). Any moms out there w/ some great advice on which athletic stroller is best for my situation? W/o breaking the bank!

Jeep brand makes a good affordable jogging stroller. I don't jog with it, but we use it to walk and go hiking. The one I have has a place to plug in your IPod or Mp3 player. I think we paid only about $120 something for it. I like it because of the music and the front wheel that you can lock or unlock and have it steer easier. It also has a big basket underneath that you can put your diaper bag in. Evan (my son) looks sooo comfy in it and seems to prefer it over his other stroller!!
