I'm pregnant with triplets and get winded easily. We're planning to go to a football game, but I really don't think I can walk around that much. I'm trying to figure out how much it will cost to rent a scooter...
You probably don't really want to rent an electric scooter for a football game. The last time I rented one, it was $50 for the day. That was at an amuzement park. Most cities won't even HAVE scooter rental available at any price. Even if you rent a scooter, you would not get to use it much at a football game because of the bleachers and stairs. Then there is the question of how transport the darned scooter TO the game.
Instead, I suggest you call a few local pharmacies and see about renting or even buying a folding wheelchair or walker with a seat. I've seen walkers (or Rollators) for $100 to OWN forever. A basic wheelchair shouldn't be not much more. You can also buy them at charity shops for next to nothing. The walker (especially) can be easily tossed in the trunk, help you in line, give you a place to rest, then tuck away quickly and easily.
Life is long and having a portable seat you can use or lend out can be a smart investment.
