I've found over the years that the only reliable test for mine is simply trusting my instincts on it.Knowing how well a new one works and knowing how well my present one works tells me if it's about time.Meters and load tests don't tell the whole story on deep cycle batteries.

The scooter takes (2) 12V/12AH batteries and I usually plug the charger into the scooter then into a 3 prong outlet at home. Would I be able to safely plug this into a converter in my car when not in use to keep the battery charged and ready?

you can safely charge your scooter's battery using this converter, the only problem is that you cannot leave the converter connected to your car battery permanently; these converters consume electricity from the car battery, and they tend to heat alot, even when no power is consumed from the other side of the converter(the 110 or 220 vAC output), you dont wanna end with an empty car battery nor a damaged converter.

Hey i was declared unable to work for a year ago. partly because of walking problems. Do i have right for money support to get a disabled mobility scooter or power chair.

since your employers have put you out of work for the cause of a physical disability, you should be covered for the costs of your electric scooter.
