My husband got his results back from the semen anaylsis and he said everything looks well except that his mobility is a little low. The doctor wants to do another test. But I was wondering if anyone has had this and what it the treatment and if there is something that he can take to bring up the mobility?

My mobility scooter has a 270W motor. It operates with two 12V 12AH batteries. The battery charger works only with 110 current. Voltage converters seem to be rated by watts. What capacity voltage converter would I need to purchase to recharge my batteries in Europe? I don't want to tote around any more bulk or weight than necessary. Same question for a 450W scooter.
My charger is 2amps.

Rascal, your main question is the minimum capacity to charge those 2 batteries, and how long that it will take. Generally, chargers are rated at a volts and amps rating. I'm willing to bet that your 2 batteries are wired in series. You would need a charger that supplies at least 27 watts, or 1.2 amps, at 24 volts.
Now, let's change this around a little bit and get something that you don't need an electrical outlet for, and would go just about anywhere that you want to go. Look up "fuel cells". These nifty devices are small, but can charge your battery litterally anywhere, so long as you have fuel to power it. Generally they use propane, so a 1 or 2 pound cylinder would provide easy power to recharge your batteries. This means that with a little planning, you would be free to explore where you would never consider going before. The fuel cell burns a fuel, with air, and creates electricity. What I have seen, and asked about are fairly small, but can deliver the voltage, and current that you need. Their efficiency is over 85% for energy in, versus energy out.

Many, probably most, Americans believe they will be much more successful than their parents. Fortunately, many do advance beyond their parents' socioeconomic level. However, it seems mobility in the U.S. lags most other industrialized countries (Search: Inter-generational Mobility by Country), and most children do not move beyond their parents' level. How can this be improved?

I believe we should start at the core. We should start by compensating teachers more. Parents turn teachers into baby sitters instead of educators so they're not doing all that they can be doing either. Teach young ones to appreciate learning and get parents and teachers in on seriously educating the masses and we will have a better more well rounded society. A more intellectually advanced society will promote only better things.

Education makes workers more productive and that results in a higher income for those who are willing to become educated.

As a ballet dancer you need to have long achilles tendon for deep demi-plies, however I was unfortunately born with short ones so my demi-plies are very short and do not support the beautiful illusion of the ballerina I need to obtain. Does anyone know how to help me increase mobility in my achilles tendon? Thank you!

hey!

the best way that i can suggest is to make sure that you do demi-plies everyday as this is continuing to stretch your achilles. (don't let your heels come off the floor when you practice these). try sitting in your plies for a few minutes slowly edging lower if possible then shaking out and doing it again. another thing that i would suggest is standing with you legs together feet parallel and the squatting down as low as you can go without lifting your heels. the aim of that stretch is to put your bottom on you heels or the floor. you'll notice that they will lengthen after doing that stretch for a while. hope this helps =)

I have a psychiatric service dog but now I have some serious mobility issues and she is just not large enough to help me. I am considering getting a second dog to train as both a psychiatric and mobility assistance dog. I prefer an extra-large breed that can brace me somewhat. Which extra-large breeds might be most suitable for service dog work? Important traits are gentleness, whether or not the public would see the dog as intimidating in appearance, intelligence, etc.

labs are the BEST working dogs! my family trains labs as working dogs. right now we have 3 labs
four year old female black lab, Stormy (my baby! i luv her!)
one year old female black lab Bella (luv her also)
four month old male yellow lab moby (he's a dummy, but i guess i luv him too!)
you should really try labs, any color will do! they are the best breed around!
