where can i purchase a bead sest cover for my captains chair on my mobility scooter?
im in the uk
dangerous! ??????????????????????????????????????????????????? how/when?

try a medical supply store. they have or can order you a cover to fit your scooter. that's what we did for my dad. can be expensive.

want one for my mobility scooter captains seat but have been told they are dangerous now.....why?

Well, beaded seat covers can be dangerous if in an automobile accident. For example, since the seat cover is hard, and beaded it can cause more spinal damage if you were in a collision. If you were to have a soft seat cover in a car then the damage would not be as harsh on your spine. Now as it concerns a mobility scooter the seat cover could come apart on the seat (snagged) and the beads may come lose. If that happens then the person in the chair roll over the beads by accident and cause injury to themselves or others. Also I believe it is also a comfort issue.

I currently have a Renault Kango & transport a mobility scooter by folding the back seats so that they are completely out of the way, up by the back of the front seats. Does anyone know of a vehicle that has the option of leaving 1 rear passenger seat available for use but lets the other seats fold totally out of the way. Dimensions for scooter length 129.5cm, width 63.5cm, height 129cm Any help would be appreciated

You could try a Citroen Xsara Picasso - all three rear seats fold up independently of each other. Citroen Berlingo has 60/40 split rear seat and is van based. Peugeot Partner combi is same as Berlingo. Fiat Doblo also has split rear seats and large luggage area.

after being breathalysed ( which was all clear ) they accused me of dangerous driving ( It was @ 2.30 in the morning no pedestrians or cars in sight ) , failing to stop at a red traffic signal , not having any lights for nightime use of a public highway , using a mobile phone whilst driving , not wearing a seat belt and other charges that may come into consideration , myself one thinks this is ridiculous and pathetic and one told the fuzz this when they stopped me also why wasn't they out catching proper criminals , if one is found guilty of these offences does anyone know if one could be banned from driving a car , many thanks .

you should have been driving on the sidewalk like proper folks do, you wouldn't have got a ticket then.
