Medical Scooter

I'm thinking about buying a scooter, but I don't see any other's parked at 6400 Fannin.

I drive to work on a Vino 125 in NW Houston, I see more scooters here every day. We just park anywhere a car would park, or split a spot if you have a scooter buddy.

scooter is for one who has troulbe walking any distance more that approx. 20 ft. Easy to break-down to fit in trunk of car.

Medical stores may put on consignment, Local newspaper that uses internet to display ads will get a more widespread area. Best to try local within 100 mile radius or shipping could cost you a fortune or the other person which people don't like.

Are you talking about the Henry Doorly Zoo?
The have more than one. It's $5 to rent a wheelchair on a first-come, first-served basis. The motorized scooter is only available to use on the lower level of the Lied Jungle.
If you really need a wheelchair for your visit, just plan on getting there early.
If you've never been to the Henrly Doorly Zoo before, it's really great!!! But it's a workout, if you have to walk! Spent 7 hrs there last summer....talk about tired!

In the scooter store commercial, they have electric powered carts. Is there a faster one some where else? How much does it cost? Where do I buy it? I'm looking for something like the one Publix has for the elders. I think it goes a little more than 5 M.P.H. and it has a basket.

I have heard those scooters cost about $5000. It's too bad more people don't walk more. They wouldn't wind up needing one.
