Looking to get a lift chair (electric recliner) for my grandmother. Any tips on getting the right one/best value?

My insurance will pay for the motor or whatever. So, it has been difficult to know what chair to purchase. Is it safe to order over the internet the same chair you see in the stores?

I would not order online. Some of them are hard and some are soft and comfy. I would want the person who will be using it to try it out.

I have a La-Z-Boy (1LH) Luxury-Lift Power Recliner with Heat. The remote mechanism that you push up or down to get the chair to raise and lower has broken. Cheap @$$ piece of plastic. Anyway, where can I obtain a new one. I have looked all over the internet, but no cigar. Also in the booklet that came with the chair says nothing about buying new parts or anything, just service. That sucks because I took the remote apart myself turned the part around backwards so I can push the metal buttons inside myself and I taped it up with electrical tape. So, I know that there is no way La-Z-Boy will service it. If anyone has any idea it would be a great deal of help. Thanks

I have one that dosn't work either previous owner spilt liquid on it. I would suggest looking into replacing just the switch itself.
