what is the best wheelchair for inside the house and is light weight?

For someone with cancer, they are getting worse, it is hard to move them, but in a small house and it is hard to get around, and hard to lift the larger type chair into a car if you are not super strong

Kuschall do a number of lightweight wheelchairs. My husband has two. One folds easily but remains whole so when I am with him, I can easily put it in the boot of the car. The other folds and the wheels can be removed so he can take it apart himself when he is alone and put it on the seat next to him (he has an adapted vehicle).

How could I give my old papasan chair a lift?

I have a papasan chair that I've had for about ten years. The larger supports of the "bowl" part are fine, but the smaller bamboo (or rattan?) supports that spiral around to the middle are broken.

I used to just duct tape them back when one broke, but now that I share an apartment with some rowdy college guys, they've become more duct tape than bamboo.

I'd rather try and fix this somehow rather than just throw it away. It still has years of use in it!

Does anyone have any ideas for how I could replace the smaller supports? I had an idea that I could remove all of them, and then maybe tightly fasten a rope between the larger sticks in a spiral to imitate the old bamboo.

Do you think this would work, or do you have any other ideas?

Thanks!

I used copper tubing that you can get in the home improvement center. It is flexible enough that you can bend the ends around the large bamboo supports or stick it into the holes that the small supports were in and glue it. You don't feel it when the cushion is in place. Over time it started to look really cool as it turned to a patina green. I also painted mine several times, for a while it was red and then I painted it black and it looked like a new chair both times.

Handicap parking and the obscenely large SUV parked there?

I've noticed at my work as I walk into the building a obscenely large SUV parked in one of the handicap spots everyday. Now, this SUV is raised some 2 feet off the ground and outfitted with some sort of off road package. What bugs me is, if your so infirm that you cannot walk very far and need to use handicap parking, how does it look to drive a vehicle you need a rope to get into. Its not fitted with a lift system for wheel chair access so it just seems like BLING to impress people. What do you think?
Mighty C, as I stated in my original question, the vehicle is not fitted with a lift for wheelchair access nor is the cab large enough to allow that.
Just so I can be clear about this. The SUV is LIFTED as in modified from its original height so that it can be used to off road. Its a Chevy Avalanche so the cab is not near large enough to use is lift for a wheelchair to place the driver behind the wheel. My father was disabled and thats why it burns me so much to see this person who clearly may have a disability but not so much that they can climb into his mammoth but enough they they can't walk 50 feet to a door.

they probably aquired a hanicapped sticker or mirror ornament illegally & use it to get good parking i wish someone would vandalize that suv because i cant stant people who take advatage of the handicapped like that

3. Then decided to go and meet her at the restaurant in town.

4. But, after eating, he looks in his wallet and notices that he's forgotten all his money! It was not a good day for my neighbor, Don Juan.

Defying gravity lifted a 350lb man over head with 2 fingers, How did this happen?

A group of four people sat a large man on a chair, The (we) four put our hands over the subjects head 1 at a time, rotated clockwise 10 times without touching each other backed off and lifted the person like they were a feather over our heads. But before we went through the hand over the head process we could not budge the subject. What happened?
No illusions to the second answer I was an active part of the mystery.
To the third answer, Our hands were together with our fingers woven and our two index fingers pointing straight out when lifting. We tried the hold and lift in sync and it was useless.

what? You can't be serious! I don't think that is possible.
