Is it true that women can lift chairs easier than men because of their wide hips and something about lower mass gravity.
Does it have to be done while sitting down or standing up?
Does it sound like a good science experiment for my project?
Does this mean I have to use a very muscular boy and a very feminine girl for it?
Yep, you are right. For the most part, women have a lower center of gravity than men. (If you balanced people on a gym bar, men have a center of gravity around their belly button, while women's C.G. is a few inches lower. The usual "parlor trick" to demonstrate this is top ask men and women to stand one "foot length" from a wall then lean their head against the wall (please, have the boys use their arms...and not just fall into the wall with their heads...lol). For adults, most men can't stand up (lift their heads off the wall without using their arms; but women can). Exceptions: Very strong men with well developed abs and lower backs...just have them back up an extra inch or two...also girls who are built like boys will have trouble, too). I don't know if this by itself makes a good science experiment, but it might if you did some more comparisons of the body differences. Example, simulate a pregnancy with weights...most boys could not stand up...again, it's that C.G. thing. Compare lower and upper body strengths between boys and girls at different ages...most girls are faster and stronger than boys pre-puberty then it changes. That might make an interesting comparison of the mighty X vs puny Y chromosome, eh?
Hope this gets you thinking.

Why cant someone design a ski lift that is easy for me to use. I have to twist sideways to sit on it then when i get off i have to sit on the edge of the chair, twist my ankle around and stick my other foot by the back binding and start to stand up when the tail touches the ground. Couldnt they just turn the seat around so you are facing sideways all you would do is sit down .
You can tell these things were designed for skis. It seems like everything is designed for skis.
I dont have trouble getting on and off. Its just discrimination that skiers only have to sit down and stand back up and i have to do a bunch of twisting and stuff. All they would have to do is twist the chair around 90 degrees. Just change the design a little and twist it the other way for skiers.
its not discrimintaion...chairlifts existed way before snowboarding was even thought of...they're not going to reinvent chairlifts to satisfy "uncomfortable" snowmoarders...go somewhere with a gondola if it upsets you so much

it looks easy on the movies but i tried it and i couldn't do it. do i have to lift her up? does she have to do some of it herself?
you should pull it out for her, and hold the back of the chair gently pushing as SHE pulls the chair under the table, but she should be assisting you
Think you can multitask? Try this: while sitting on a chair, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. Then, while doing that, draw the number 6 with your right hand. You can’t help it: your foot will change direction.
*star* if ur foot changed direction
HAHAH, mine totally didn't.
