I am currently in a motorized wheel chair due to severe peripheral neuropathy in my legsand feet. I also suffer from carpal tunnel disease in my hands. Medicaid recently paid for my chair,but now I am home bound. I can get "dial a ride" but must pay for its services. I have looked in the goverment catalogs for grant but thats like reading "insert slot A into c, then g into I " any help would be greatly appriciated

I live in the DFW (Dallas, tx) area... but I can get this shipped. I need the lift to go up 42" (that's where the door of the building is) any ideas where I can get a used one? I don't care what it looks like.

Sorry, but Medicare does not pay for a lift. Medicare only pays for durable medical equipment that is used in your home.
I live in a very limited income, with disabilty, SSI and recieve medacair. I am in need of a elect. wheel chair, and a lift chair, and eqiupment for the rest room. I can NOT get this out of pocket expence once my bills are paid each month. So if you have a answer, with help on how to get these few items It would be a BIG help to me, Before I go in for surgery next month....

It all depends on where you live, because services vary by state if you live in the US. In my area of Florida, there is something called a temporary loan closet, that will "rent" equipment that they have available for a nominal fee - primarily because the equipment is donated to them. I don't know if they deliver or pick-up...that may be a consideration for you if you find a service. You may want to call the hospital where you are being admitted and ask to speak to a social worker and explain your situation to him/her and see if they can help.
