Twin Adjustable Bed

i have this old bed it has massage on it and it might even have heat i am not sure, i havent played withit much,it goes up,and down and stuff like that it works real well, no stains are any thing does not smell really its like new. how much do they sell for new ? and how much do you think i could get out of it ? what should i do with it ? thanks.

I'm not sure what the Craftmatic beds are going for....but I work for a company that provides medical equipment and an electric hospital bed sales for about $2000. The hospital beds do not however have the massage or heat mechanisms on them. If this bed is used and over a few years old, you may be able to sell it for about $1200-1500. I'm guessing that they are about $4-$5000 new with massage and heat on them. Hope this gives you something to go on! Try listing it in the classifieds if you'd like to sell it!

I have an adjustable bed and I want to put a coil mattress on it. Can I use any one that fits? Or only those made especailly for an adjustable frame. Must it be thin?What if the mattress has a cord around it-will it still work?

As long as its the right size you can use it.

Nearly all coil mattresses have what's called a border wire attached to the coils to give edge support. For an adjustable bed you need to find any mattress that does not have a border wire. Also consider foam, memory foam, or latex are all good choices.

We've got a twin captain's bed for our almost 3-year old, and we have a bed rail on the side. The trouble is that he moves all over the bed when he sleeps, and he'll fall off the bottom of the bed if we don't have a guard. Can't seem to find anything online -- help!?!?

Why not move a dresser or book shelf to the end of the bed for now? That way the barrier is there.

We have 2 twin XL adjustable beds which make a king size bed. We keep having problems with the mattresses slipping / moving off the frame. Not on the end because the bar is there, but on the sides. Is there something that can be done to keep the mattress from slipping off the frame other than securing the 2 beds together (say with a king size sheet) because each bed is adjustable? Any help is appreciated!

Buy a non slip pad and place it between the base and mattress. That should help keep the mattress from sliding side to side.

You should be able to find one at Home Depot, Target, or Lowes They're made for rugs. But I've had customers use them for their bases and say it works fine.
