Mattress For Electric Bed

This is kind of gross but what do people do about their "wet patch" re it staining the mattress/damaging the electric blanket underneath? Also does the average person change their sheets after each "encounter" or do they wait for a few "encounters". Just wondering what's "normal" I guess.

Look up mattress covers. Now, stop sleeping on your electric blanket, it goes on top of you.

I live in a very cold area in the mountains, and so it would be nice to have an electric mattress pad to keep the bed warm while I'm sleeping. Is there really that much of a fire hazard with the new ones?

No fire hazard, just make sure you follow directions for washing. Most will automatically turn off after 10 hours. I love mine, and have had them over 10 years.
