Also, where is it from? What are the payment options? Include a link if possible please.
how about just a 2 or 3 inch memory foam pad to put on top of the mattress? those cost $100-$200 if you can find them on sale.
I took this video so I could share with my fellow Scoliosis friends. This shows the bed raising the head and feet, along with the whole bed ...
I currently have a memory foam bed that I bought to help my back problems. Its the best thing ive ever bought but my wife hates it. Has anyone with back problems tried one of the sleep number adjustable air beds? I hear them advertised all the time on our local radio.

I don't have one of those but I have been using an Aerobed for years and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have a spine injury and what feels good tonight might not be what works for me tomorrow. It is fully adjustable and I have had no problems with it at all. It's a good, reasonable way to find out if air beds will work for you or not

Set of 4. Ease of use. Cordlock button allows you to control desired tension.
Dependable. Patent Pending design.
Built with durable round elastic, nickel plated clamps with fabric protector and unique cord lock.
From the flat position, one could fold it up increasingly in the different positions (one way). To make it flat again, one needed to fully push it to the front first. From the flat position one could then go to any desired position. Apparently, a visitor forced it back and now I cannot change position at all (although I can push it to the front). The metal structure is inside the textile and foam padding, so I cannot see it or even feel it. Is it worth to fix it?
Probably not worth fixing, if the metal got bent then its weakened. This would just cause more problems in he future or it will break later on. You may want to try getting it to either be flat (bed) or just a regular couch at this point.

I got my mom a tempurpedic bed and she likes it, but does not like the foamy, plastic odor.
Will it eventually go away?
Can I get one of those dust mite cover thing to wrap the matress and "seal it" to eliminate the odor?
Will the dust mite cover affect the adjustable component of the bed?
Thanks
no actually getting a good mattress cover will help with the odor as well as to keep the foam getting the body odor overtime.. it's always a good investment to get a cover since you paid good money for the mattress.
Okay, I bought a used (but in perfect condition) Tempurpedic adjustable base, that raises at the head and feet and also has massage action! Got a great deal!!
But, for the mattress, I bought an inexpensive memory foam off eBay (new from Sleepy Mountain Mattress). It was great for about the first 6 months! But, now, almost two years later... we hate it! The mattress has a giant sink hole in the middle and is really uncomfortable for two people trying to sleep together!
So, I'm looking for suggestions on a new mattress that is really firm, yet comfortable... AND... that will work with the adjustable action of our base?
Would especially love to hear from those of you who have owned your Tempurpedic (EXPENSIVE!) mattress for at least 3-5 years. They're supposed to have a 20 year warranty. (Well, so does the Sleepy Mountain Mattress we bought... but once you read the fine print, and figure out the way they pro-rate the warranty after the first 12 months, and factor in the difficulty in re-packaging and cost of shipping... well it would be cheaper to give it away!)
Does the Sleep Number work with an adjustable base frame?
We need a new mattress; please make your suggestions!
Thanks!
Warranty is not an indicator of mattresses durability.
Comparing Tempur Pedic to an inexpensive memory foam mattress usually is not a fair comparison at all. One is the measure by which all others compare themselves too, while the other is merely cheap and inexpensive. In other words we are usually getting what we pay for when we buy cheap.
I used to sell Temp. and liked it a lot. My market did not support the extra $$$$ they cost, so we opted for Isotonic in our rural area.
I am a big fan of mattresses made with all natural Dunlop Latex. Not just and inch or 2 but 6-12 inches of latex, with no cheap filler foams is a great choice. Do a search on it. Reviews are very good for this category in general.

The Memory Foam Mattress Guarantees A Lifetime Of Dreams
It seemed like I hadn’t had a good sleep in months, and my back was killing me. Every night felt like I slept on a boulder. I’d wake up feeling like I had a knife plunged into my spine. My whole body would be tense throughout the day, like I had spent the night sleeping on a folding chair. I longed for a soothing night of rest again, my back aching for peace and my mind longing for dreams.
I had heard about Tempurpedic beds from the late night commercials I watched when I couldn’t sleep. The catch to the promised comfort was an outrageously high price. Sure, I wanted to sleep like a king, but I don’t have a vault filled with gold, which is what the a Tempurpedic bed would have cost me. Though they are guaranteed for 20 years, that’s really not a long time considering how expensive the bed costs. I’d probably still be paying down the credit card bill 20 years from now and be left with nothing to sleep on.
