Adjustable Twin Bed Frame

I have an adjustable bed and I want to put a coil mattress on it. Can I use any one that fits? Or only those made especailly for an adjustable frame. Must it be thin?What if the mattress has a cord around it-will it still work?

As long as its the right size you can use it.

Nearly all coil mattresses have what's called a border wire attached to the coils to give edge support. For an adjustable bed you need to find any mattress that does not have a border wire. Also consider foam, memory foam, or latex are all good choices.

We have 2 twin XL adjustable beds which make a king size bed. We keep having problems with the mattresses slipping / moving off the frame. Not on the end because the bar is there, but on the sides. Is there something that can be done to keep the mattress from slipping off the frame other than securing the 2 beds together (say with a king size sheet) because each bed is adjustable? Any help is appreciated!

Buy a non slip pad and place it between the base and mattress. That should help keep the mattress from sliding side to side.

You should be able to find one at Home Depot, Target, or Lowes They're made for rugs. But I've had customers use them for their bases and say it works fine.

I have limited space in my boys' room and I recently got a twin bed frame. It's kinda shorter than a regular bed so I'm guessing it was used for a trundle bed or for a small child. My older son has one of those beds with the drawers underneath it. If I get him an adjustable bed frame, is there any way I can put my youngest's bed underneath it??
Any ideas on how to make a trundle bed? I don't want to use bunk beds because we have a trailer and the ceiling is low.
I priced some trundle beds on line and they are a little pricey. So I just wanted to see if I can make one myself a little bit cheaper. Thanks...

Or, . . . the cheapest plan, assuming a regular mattress fits under the bed your son already has- you could slide the mattress itself under the bed . . . usually mattresses have two spots with little rope pulls on the side, maybe you could add a little piece to each so it could be pulled out at night.

I'd go with the Ikea furniture, and sell the other ones on Craigslist-
