We have 2 twin XL adjustable beds which make a king size bed. We keep having problems with the mattresses slipping / moving off the frame. Not on the end because the bar is there, but on the sides. Is there something that can be done to keep the mattress from slipping off the frame other than securing the 2 beds together (say with a king size sheet) because each bed is adjustable? Any help is appreciated!
Buy a non slip pad and place it between the base and mattress. That should help keep the mattress from sliding side to side.
You should be able to find one at Home Depot, Target, or Lowes They're made for rugs. But I've had customers use them for their bases and say it works fine.

Nearly all coil mattresses have what's called a border wire attached to the coils to give edge support. For an adjustable bed you need to find any mattress that does not have a border wire. Also consider foam, memory foam, or latex are all good choices.

Here's my dilemma, I have a really nice pillow top mattress, but I was offered one of those cool beds that sits up or elevates your legs, but I don't know how good the mattress is.

There are so many things that we want and need in our lives, but sometimes we simply can't afford it right then and there. However, after living years scrimping, saving, and not treating my body as well as I should have been when I was working long hours, I've come to a big realization. You only live once, and you have to take care of your body no matter what the cost. For the longest time I was sleeping on the mattress my parents bought me when I was 15 years old. I could feel every painful spring and went years without a full nights rest because of it. It finally got to a point where I was grumpy all the time and starting to under-perform at my job. My doctor told me something that I knew all along, I had to get better sleep. Plain and simple. So, he suggested I look into purchasing an adjustable bed mattress to get a good night rest. Now, you may try to figure out why you would want to get an adjustable bed mattress and the answer to that is simple - comfort. We all want to be comfortable when we are in bed, and the only way we can do that is if we have a mattress on our beds that do what we want it to do. Most of the time, when people hear adjustable bed, they think of the beds that are in hospitals. Biologically, we all need at least 7 hours of restful sleep a night to recharge our bodies. A lot of people like to brag that they only need as little as 3 hours of sleep a night and still feel great the next morning. The thing is, this does not mean that their body is getting all of the rest it needs to perform its best. Most importantly, your body does not get enough time to repair itself the way it should. Getting an adequate amount of sleep (7 hours) is really important and an adjustable bed mattress can make it happen.
